For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good game. If you like turn-based games this one is very fun. Fantastic art, cool characters and story, great turn-based gameplay and open-world exploration. There is a lot of back-tracking and the dungeons have a lot of aimless wandering around. The dungeons are generated though, so that's a plus. Game is also very challenging. I love a challenge, but I died 3 times on the final boss after having a completely maxed-out fully "mythical" built party on New Game +. Since the game has a level cap at 30 and you can only max your gear at "mythical" quality, I think some may have a hard time beating NG+ without a tremendous amount of grinding. Great fun for achievement hunters like me. Overall great game. I hope they make a sequel! They left it open to one for sure.
gutes Spiel, es ist eines Versuch Wert
Nice little turn based RPG, get a party kill stuff, swap party members, kill more stuff. I really liked the animation style just wish there was a newer entry for this title.
you can fish in this
This is what I meant in my Darksiders Genesis review. When a developer copies & pasts typical genre gameplay, at least have the decency to do it well. Battle Chasers: Nightwar never surprises, but at the same time is an perfectly competent game in the JRPG format. Comfort food of the good kind. An overland map to travel upon, a team of six characters with stereotypical personalities but otherwise well defined roles, turn based combat, skill upgrades, crafting. It all works fine. Add to the mix some very pretty battle models, superb animations and good looking dungeons and you get a nice solid package. The game is about 40 - 50 hours long, so decently sized. The "unique" touches in this game are twofold. Battlewise: don't use mana in a round, but instead use certain buildup abilities and your characters will earn "overcharge". This extra energy bar can be used to power mana abilities for free in the next round. It's entirely possible to never touch your mana reserves in Battle Chasers. As an added bonus you'll earn some extra experience too after the fight. Then there's the mostly randomized dungeons. Some rooms are pre-baked, but the rest is randomized inside the same tileset. Including certain dungeon events. I thought they were well made. Barring a few exceptions feeling distinctly enough, inviting me to replay all of them at higher difficulties for better loot. The downsides aren't many. The models are pretty, but many of the enemies have several variations looking almost the same. Tastely touched up nontheless, but in the end they're still variants (like fire slimes and magic slimes etc). The random elements are nice, but not so much when you're trying to find specific mobs (I my case a certain final sky captain boss) or a certain kind of fish for a fishing activity. Both didn't show up after many attemps, so in the end I just gave up chasing after the corresponding achievements. I also encountered one strange bug. The game somehow doesn't like me using my Xbox Elite controller wireless, crashing my game each and every time at startup. Fortunately it works fine wired, but I've never quite figured out what caused the problem. Lastly the ending disappointed me somewhat. Just a small walking section (I wouldn't call it a dungeon), an easy boss for my well prepared party and an okay but sudden outro. It's clear the story doesn't end here, but will we ever see our heroes again? I felt... unfulfilled after that outro. Nontheless most of the time Battle Chasers is a joy to play. I'm a fan of the genre and I felt entertained. Well polished, compact/focused. Honed. That's what I'd call this game. Might try Ruined King just as well then one day. ;) Rating: 7.5/10
