Batman: Arkham City - Game of the Year Edition

Unlike Arkham Asylum and Arkham Knight, this game sits in an uncanny valley where nothing is as good as either game before it. Traversal and combat is horrible. The city is in an awful horseshoe shape that makes gliding awkward, and the grapnel boost is nowhere near powerful enough to make it bearable. As for combat, the game lacks animation cancelling. This is the same in Asylum, but the enemy variety and the sizes of fights in Asylum meant you could be deliberate in your actions. The same does not apply to City. Circumstances could change in an instant, you can go for a punch but suddenly need to counter and be unable to do it. The combat is nowhere near fluid enough to justify the enemy variety.
