Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 20.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 21.86/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Fantastic game that meshes silly comic book vibes with far more serious characters. Graphics still hold up, gameplay is as good as ever, characters are fantastically engaging. Replaying this after Arkham Knight brings a whole new layer to Batman's desire not to involve his friends for fear of them dying alongside him. Engaging story throughout, fun boss fights. Genuinely almost everything you could ask for out of a Batman game (Just misses the Batmobile, more Robin and Bat Family, and a Killer Croc sidequest GIVE MY BOY MORE REPRESENTATION HE DESERVES IT HE'S THE BEST) Just a fantastic game overall with an engaging story and great pacing which makes it all the more regrettable that it treats female characters like Catwoman, Talia, Ivy and Harley as afterthoughts and, tbh, pieces of meat to dangle in front of players. Harley fails the Bechdel test though tbf that's kind of her character, but Talia fails it just as hard. Catwoman is barely featured despite being playable (probably for the best cuz I did not vibe with her traversal mode and hated beating Two-Face with her) and instead of giving us more time focused on her attempts to get rid of Harvey Dent, we get three measly missions and a 15-min long post-main story mission that rewards you with a single line of dialogue. Ivy from City to Knight is unrecognizable. In Knight her character gets the spotlight a whole lot more and she's more fleshed out than any of the four women featured in this game. Every single one of their designs has badly aged, unfortunately. They come off less comic-booky and far more "13-yo's-wet-dream". I get being sensual and having sex-appeal is a part of their characters but the way said sex appeal is turned into an almost character defining trait that overshadows everything else is pretty upsetting. Glad to see Rocksteady seems to have somewhat moved away from that kind of representation of women. And my second and only complaint is Hamill. I said the same thing in my review of Knight, he's an incredible Joker but when he openly supports a genocide, I simply refuse to separate art and artist. He's one of the many reasons that I hope Rocksteady moves away from Joker as a main antagonist if they ever make a sequel. Or at least bring back Troy Baker, he did a great job in Origins! These two stains have to be acknowledged, just like how brilliant the rest of this game is has to be acknowledged. One of my favorite games as a teen and it has aged graciously except for the two aforementioned parts.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Somehow I missed Arkham City back in the day, even though I really enjoyed both Asylum and Knight. Playing it now was strange and here are some observations in random order:

It feels like a transition point between its predecessor and sequel - it's not as compact as Asylum and yet doesn't feel as open as Knight. More like a very large box-city with smaller box-levels inside it.
Flow combat system is one of my favorites but it felt slow. I believe they made it unnecessarily complicated here and then streamlined in Knight. Also there was a short fight when Batman uses a sword - instant flashback to Shadow of Mordor/War and realization of how much progress they made with combat in the Middle Earth series.
The game is 15 years old and aged pretty well. I did use a hi-res textures mod though.
Zero non-sexy female characters. Yep, it's 2011.
The number of collectables is insane, but for sure there are people who loved it.
The story and writing sometimes were comically bad.
Overall game-y feeling especially with environmental puzzles.
I was confused by the lack of UI and markers at first. Reminded me how overcluttered some of modern games can be.
Traversal mechanic makes me want to finally play Spider-Man 2.
Overall - a decent game. I give it 7/10 but almost want to make this review negative to balance out that ridiculous "overwhelmingly positive".
