Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Bad Dream: Purgatory is a surreal point and click game set in an abandoned and forgotten project, filled with unused characters from a cancelled game. These characters are trapped in a state of limbo, suspended in nothingness without any purpose or direction. It's up to you to decide their fate and give them the meaning they so desperately crave. "You can't die if you've never lived" - but what if you only exist as a first thought, a person without any depth?
Unlike previous Bad Dream games, Purgatory is presented in a side-scrolling format giving players a more immersive and personal experience. The artstyle is simplistic, with hand-drawn illustrations that perfectly capture the game's atmosphere.
Important: The game has a full Point & Click mode with a static camera.
The game consists of three chapters. Two of them (the introductory one and the simplified ending) are linear. The open world is non-linear and includes all achievements and a "true ending."
Game Features:
A non-linear chapter allowing you to hunt for secrets and achievements
Two modes of gameplay (side-scrolling or static camera)
Interactive environment
Sound environments - SFX sound different in different rooms (echo, muffled sound, etc.)
Custom music and sound effects ( I learned how to compose my own music and I bought a microphone to record my own SFX )
Artstyle - I learned how to draw as well :P
A game made by one person - Guys. I even drew my own fonts :P To be fair I wasn't able to record ALL SFX myself, but other than that I made this game alone. Btw. NO AI
This is version 2.0, released in July 2026. It includes a multitude of changes, improvements, and fixes. The biggest one is the switch from 2.5D to side-scrolling mode.
(The first version is still available for download as the "old version" - tutorial in the pinned post)

This game is pretty bad overall. Play other games in the series. Map design: - 3d walls with 2d objects in it - confusing layout since everything looks the same because the dev used the same walls for everything and copy pasted lots of trees to make it seem its a world full of things - you cannot look up and down just like in Doom only left and right, and yet there are interactive objects up and down - you are either blocked by walls or trees so you cant get out of the map and yet the are paths were you have to go between trees to procees, which makes it confusing. Stick to a design decision. Game design: - no menu for listing keyboard mappings. I guess the dev forgot that he went from a point and click 2d game into a 3d game where you actually walk. Let people see and change the key bindings - no colors do not work as well in 3d as they do in 2d - no ui for objectives. If you close the game and some time passes, you will have no idea what happened and what youre supposed to do next. This was an issue with previous games as well but that one was 2d so much less space to cover - the game consists of a bunch of areas with transitions/loading in between them. The areas are so small, why are the transitions/loading zones needed in the first place? - no animations, just static 2d images Sound design: - its pretty much silent, other than the background music and a handful of effects Story design: - was hoping at least the story was good but they start with a grave with the word "YOU" on it, which literally makes no sense. - the game is a bunch of fetching quests. Find random item, find a person to give it to, progress, repeat. - it is a story about afterlife/purgatory and yet it's so boring I just couldnt be bothered to finish it

真的太晕了 有缘再启动吧 我都不知道该不该好评 毕竟一次性玩18分钟就把我击溃了
I am a HUGE fan of all Desert Fox games and this one is no different in that sense. I love the art style, its always right up my street. The movement is different to what i'm used to with their other games but that really doesn't matter and if anything made me love it even more because the dev is trying something new! It did take me a bit of time to figure out the looking at or using item thing and when watching people stream this game on release, it did take others some time as well but once you figure that out you are good to go!
Purgatory stands out among the other Bad Dream games with its 3D setting/movement and very minimalistic atmosphere. Like the other games, there's a lot of paths to explore (particularly in the open world) and your choices will influence how things change to an extent. The puzzles can be rather confusing in the open world, but it's satisfying when you finally figure out how to progress. There are a lot of secrets and paths I haven't been able to figure out yet, but I hope I'll get there eventually. Someone really needs to make a walkthrough... that said, it's a fun game that's worth buying if you're willing to accept the challenges!
