Bueno, no aquí.

В Steam даже гайд есть с названием "How to actually play a broken game" — вот это диагноз.
It is a smaller and partly worse version of Plants vs Zombies. Just because I say worse doesn't mean it's absolutely bad. Still enjoyed it, without question, especially because it costs absolutely nothing. I mean 2€ is nothing for this game. Definitely worth checking out!
Bacon Tales – Between Pigs and Wolves is a 2D lane-based tower defense strategy game developed and published by Uruca Game Studio that reimagines a familiar fairy-tale conflict into a lighthearted but tactical survival challenge. Drawing inspiration from the classic story of pigs versus wolves, the game frames its action around defending a vulnerable village from relentless assaults, using a blend of card-driven unit deployment, resource management, and wave control. From the start, it establishes a playful tone, but beneath the charm lies a methodical strategy loop that rewards planning, timing, and an understanding of how different defenses interact across multiple fronts. The core gameplay revolves around three horizontal lanes that funnel incoming enemies toward the pig village. Wolves advance in waves, each with different traits and behaviors, forcing players to divide their attention and make constant prioritization decisions. Defense is handled through a vignette system that functions like a small deck of cards, each representing units, structures, or special actions that can be deployed when resources allow. Some vignettes place frontline defenders to block or damage enemies, others create barriers to slow advances, and special abilities can turn the tide when pressure spikes. This card-like approach adds flexibility to traditional tower defense mechanics, as players must decide not only where to defend, but also when to commit limited options. Progression introduces additional layers without overwhelming the player. Multiple heroes are available, each subtly influencing how battles unfold through unique traits or synergies with certain vignettes. As stages are completed, players unlock new defensive options and upgrades that expand strategic possibilities, encouraging experimentation with different deck compositions. Resource flow during battles plays a critical role, as efficient defense leads to stronger momentum, while poor placement or mistimed abilities can quickly spiral into loss. Boss encounters punctuate progression and act as stress tests for a player’s build, demanding coordinated use of units, specials, and lane awareness rather than brute force. Visually, the game leans into a colorful, cartoon-inspired art style that emphasizes clarity and personality over technical detail. Pig defenders and wolf enemies are immediately readable, with exaggerated designs that communicate roles and threat levels at a glance. Backgrounds and environments support the fairy-tale atmosphere without distracting from gameplay, though they remain fairly simple. The presentation reinforces the game’s accessibility, making it easy to follow action even when multiple lanes are under pressure simultaneously. The pacing of Bacon Tales is intentionally measured. Early stages serve as gentle introductions, allowing players to learn how vignettes function and how lanes interact. As the game progresses, enemy compositions grow more demanding, and success depends increasingly on synergy rather than raw numbers. That said, the overall rhythm can feel repetitive during longer sessions, as the fundamental loop remains consistent and variations between waves are incremental rather than transformative. Players who enjoy refining strategies and optimizing efficiency will find satisfaction here, while those seeking constant novelty may feel the structure settle into predictability. Narrative elements exist primarily as flavor rather than a driving force. The pig-and-wolf conflict is lightly contextualized through dialogue and small story beats, but the game never pauses to explore deeper lore or character arcs. This keeps focus squarely on gameplay, which suits the tower defense format, though it may leave players who enjoy story-driven strategy wanting more narrative payoff. The tone remains whimsical throughout, reinforcing the idea that the game is meant to be enjoyed as a playful tactical exercise rather than an epic campaign. Balance is one of the game’s more uneven aspects. While many defensive options are viable, certain vignettes and strategies can feel noticeably stronger than others, making experimentation less rewarding once an effective setup is discovered. Difficulty scaling can also feel inconsistent, with some stages dragging on while others spike sharply depending on enemy composition. These quirks reflect the game’s indie roots and modest scope, and while they rarely make the experience unfair, they do limit the depth of long-term mastery. Taken as a whole, Bacon Tales – Between Pigs and Wolves is a charming, approachable tower defense game that blends familiar mechanics with a playful aesthetic and light deck-building elements. Its strengths lie in clarity, accessibility, and the satisfaction of holding the line against escalating waves of enemies. While it lacks the mechanical depth, balance precision, or narrative ambition of larger strategy titles, it delivers a solid and enjoyable experience within its niche. For players looking for a relaxed yet thoughtful lane defense game with fairy-tale flair, it offers a pleasant strategic diversion that rewards patience and careful planning. Rating: 5/10
This game is incredibly strange and problematic. Each level is increasingly difficult with no real power ups or aids. You'll unlock stronger (more expensive) cards but you won't ever be able to use them. The game has 0 sense of balancing whatsoever and you will be able to beat all standard levels (not bosses) with the 3 first cards you unlock. If you don't have a keen eye for strategy, don't play this game. It requires a lot of skill, effort and timing to play properly due to the lack of care when designing levels. If you are set on playing this game, or maybe just want to get a cheap game with some simple achievements, here are some tips: - Hay bales, farmers and hunters are your best friends. Cheap and fast cycling cards will mean you survive the earlier rounds - Do not bring more than one expensive card (10+ cost) you will rarely be able to afford it and by the time you are able to you won't be able to place many - always Always ALWAYS upgrade your village ASAP. You will NOT beat later waves and later levels on base +1 currency. Sacrifice some health if you need to to get your economy going. - There is no benefit to killing wolves fast, ultimately this is a bad thing as it triggers the next wave early and you will get less income. Stall in early rounds as long as possible to build up your economy. If you play this game, genuinely, good luck.
