amazing game
A nice way to experience a game I spent countless hours on as a kid again for the first time. While this game is a lot of fun, it's certainly not perfect. The game is broken in a lot of the ways the original two Backyard Baseball games were broken, as well as a few new and exciting ways. Great accessibility settings but the subtitles are honestly pretty bad. The subtitles cover huge a big chunk of the game UI, they often show completely wrong text, and when the text does match the audio it's also still got some sort of error. I like this game a lot and I hope to see these things improve in the near future.

decent for nostalgia the price is pretty steep and the hitting is way too easy even on "hard" mode yes its a kids game but still, also plz add more OG fields
Is good.
So much potential but the major problem comes from the current batting system. If you have "swing assist" turned on it doesn't matter what difficulty I play against I can win by 40+ runs easily and have to purposely throw the game for it to end. However, if that function is turned off I am lucky to hit 1 ball in an entire game even on easy difficulty. I've spent hours trying to crack the code on how to hit a ball with the swing assist turned off and there is no trick to it or technique, good luck even thinking about swinging at a curve ball or a a crazy pitch. It's near impossible to hit a slow ball right down the middle. So as of this date, you can either win a boring game by sometimes up to 60 runs. Or you can lose and strike out every single at bat no matter who you have on your team. Both options are not fun.
I love backyard baseball as the memories of childhood and playing baseball. I also love the characters.
guys you need to play it it was that i got so many home runs in yestday and today plss try
