Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Two endings. Try to get both!
We made this game in one week. Debugging and further touch-ups took two months. We never created pixel art or original music before, but we used this project as an opportunity to push ourselves outside our comfort zone and grow more independent as a team of two. Above all else, Backspace Backspace Backspace is our love letter to every creative soul out there. Keep making!
Because we appreciate transparency, and to help you save your money, here's what this game is not:
A "long" game. We made this game with compactness in mind. Expect no more than 20 minutes of gameplay.
A flawless game. Backspace Backspace Backspace is a small project made in a limited time frame, with limited experience, and virtually no resources, with the intent of learning how to make a game from scratch. Naturally, it will have technical issues. We are still working on them, but we don't want this game to hold us back from focusing on our next project. If you encounter a bug, please let us know.
We have many more games lined up in the near future. If you already purchased Backspace Backspace Backspace and would like to support us further, we would be immensely grateful to you. Leave us a review, tell your friends about this game, or purchase the Backspace Backspace Backspace soundtrack (which is also available on YouTube for free).

Honestly, for this price its a steal. The music and graphics are pretty well made and polished. And Its a short fun game to play through in less than 45 minutes. Ps. loving the achievement "Stop That"

The portrait of the place where the protagonist hid and read is so pretty. It conveys that lonely but comforting feeling really really well. I was just super impressed by that. And the image of the protagonist's closed eye, the second one in the game. dude, i feel like that evokes its feeling so well, that frustration, disappointment, and tiredness, and shame. God. It's really good. I feel like i've had a lot of moments like this game, when my eyes are dry and aching, and i've been staring at my monitor for hours, and i've yet to write a single sentence. yet to make a single phrase that i can accept. and i just feel awful and stuff. But i think that the next time i'm feeling like that, i'm prob'ly gonna remember this game and chuckle at myself a little. I think that the main thing that i got from it was just a tangible feeling, more believable than when i tell myself this in the moment, that other people've actually felt like that. Overall it was pretty nice.
This looks like an experimental game, with themes of struggle with self-worth, and AI as a comparison of output. The message is a bit weird, starts relatable with the struggling while the character is at the PC, but takes a confusing turn when they leave. After that I couldn't relate to the story, but it was still interesting. The sound and art are nice, don't take the focus from the story. There are a couple of bugs: - I watched the credits first and got locked there, I actually triggered the backspace achievement because I was tapping on the keyboard trying to leave. Had to close the game. - On the in-game menu I clicked to restart, and just stayed locked in the game. Had also to close the game to restart. But it is a very tiny game, good to try if you like experimental stuff.
my cat really loved the pixel art. support experimenting devs <3
АБСОЛЮТНОЕ кино для всех кто занимается какой-либо творческой деятельностью на постоянной основе....остальным соболезную
