About
BACKROOMS: LIMINAL ESCAPE is a VHS-style horror game set in the eerie liminal spaces of the Backrooms. Featuring stunning photorealistic graphics and intense, engaging gameplay, it delivers a thrilling and immersive experience.
Unlike a typical Backrooms walking simulator, BACKROOMS: LIMINAL ESCAPE keeps you on edge with moments where you’ll need to run, hide, stay silent, and more to survive.
Explore a wide variety of maps, each carefully crafted to stay true to Backrooms lore. Every level adds depth to the mystery and horror of these haunting liminal spaces. You can also disable the VHS effect for an entirely different game.
Additionally, the game has a 'No Entity' option for players who want to explore the 12 different levels without any scares. (This option is available in the Extras section of the main menu.)

This game is a 8/10 because i was really fun and scary but once i reached level 4 i couldnt beat it so i just quit, also another bad thing is that if you leave the game it restarts all your progress. The game would have been 10/10 if it werent for these issues. I wanted to continue the game after level 4 but i couldnt beat it. If you want a hard backrooms game than this is the one for you

An amazing and high quality backrooms game i can't wait for more levels but i do recommend that you make level fun a bit easier other than that an amazing game overall!
nah
fantastic
I barley dont recommend it, could been a lot better with tweaks, there was a strong potential with the general graphics for a good complex expedtion like walking simulator. This game has good visuals in a way that really fits the backrooms but all the levels are kinda hastly thrown together and take maybe only 2 minutes(can be way less too) to complete, the levels dont blend into reachother through a elevator or glitching, you just get a VHS screen then teleproted to next one, with levels this brief this hurts immersion. the entities are very buggy and not quite ogod. Options wise i also wish there was mouse sensivity and option for less sway when turning camera. Due to the extras option and the general options in game you can choose to play without entities and level sellect which in practive makes progress saveable. This is the only reason the game isnt too harly attacked due to long with its low prize tag. If you just wish to play a brief game with many levels and some decent high points but ultimley is flawed, then go a head, i just think theres issues breaking imersison which prevents it from being too much of a so lid walking simulator. At one point it even says on wall to a hallway "walk here to skip level". Just totally breaks imerssion.
I really enjoyed it.
好玩 不过有bug
I can tell the creator put a lot of effort into this game however it seems like it just wasn't enough. first of all you're basically forced to run the whole time because the walk speed is extremely slow especially compared to other games that are made exactly like this. secondly, the camera shake is way too over exaggerated. every time you turn it dramatically swings. the third but definitely not the last flaw is that you cannot change any controls including sensitivity. of course you can adjust dpi to your liking but that never works, having an in game sensitivity changer is more accurate and advanced than changing dpi. i like that they have entities in this game unlike some other found footage games, however they are extremely buggy and i see why these other games don't include them as much. so in conclusion, you pay $5 for a very buggy and boring (unless you're sprinting the entire time) game that you cannot even save progress in. I excepted a lot more from this game considering it has been out for over a year. i can see how much effort is put into this but it's disappointing because of all of the little mistakes that weren't looked twice at.
I like this game, very scary backrooms game however I’d like the option to not have entities chase you, jump scare you, or the timer in another level. I love the feeling of tense and that someone could be watching/following you but is just a walking sim.
