Backrooms: Escape Together – Friendship Ends at the First Entity
Backrooms games are everywhere, but this one actually understands the assignment: Get lost. Get scared. Hear your friend scream through proximity chat. Leave him behind. The graphics are insanely good for the price, the levels actually feel unsettling, and somehow the game runs better than half the AAA games currently trying to melt my PC. The Good: - UE5 visuals look way too realistic for a game about yellow wallpaper and emotional damage. - Really well optimized. - Proximity voice chat is basically 50% of the horror and 100% of the comedy. - Procedural levels keep runs from feeling exactly the same. - Different floors have their own mechanics, puzzles and entities. - Great with friends. - Difficulty scaling actually makes larger groups more chaotic instead of automatically easier. - Hearing "FOLLOW THE SOUND OF MY WHISTLE" right before someone disappears never gets old. The Bad: - Still buggy. Early Access moment. - Replayability gets rough once you've already solved everything and your second run becomes Backrooms: Speedrun Together. - Item RNG can occasionally decide that survival is optional. - The camera looks cool but is criminally underused. - Some objective items follow you longer than they logically should. - More levels would massively improve the game. Final Verdict: Solo, it's creepy. With friends, it's one of the funniest horror games you can play. Nothing strengthens friendship quite like hearing your best friend screaming somewhere in the darkness and collectively deciding: "Yeah... he's gone." 8.5/10 – Amazing co-op horror experience. Needs more levels, more polish, and significantly more opportunities to sacrifice my friends.

This is one of the best games with friends, maybe not alone the game is better with people. I love prox chat in games and this does it the best, the in game entity's can hear you witch makes it harder to find your friends when your lost (thats a good thing). the levels are so well done, some backrooms games usualy rushes there levels but this games does it perfect. not everything is good like entity's can be janky and the maps sometimes spawn badly, either way its the best backrooms game.
