Backrooms Cycle

After a few hours in-game, I can confidently say that you're in for an absolute blast with this production! From the moment I started playing, I was hooked by its captivating gameplay, stunning visuals, and interesting world. The developers have truly outdone themselves in creating an experience that is both enjoyable and engaging. Get ready to have loads of fun with this game!

Probably the first backrooms game I have ever disliked so far....Mainly when creating a lobby, you are spawned in automatically to Level 0. With no items, and all scenic routes rarely have loot. You will see random crates with just random trash items or a few flare items that you may only use in the game 1-2x. I like the idea that you're able to go to the pool rooms to talk to some characters that have some meaningful story/quests. And, slides to enter into different levels. But, something is lacking in the game-play. I understand this is early access. Just the advertisement of this game is almost like it is a hype train than what it is worth. Definitely not 10bucks, more so should be around maybe 5bucks? If anyone likes exploring games, then this is what the product stands for. Its not doing puzzles, fighting, or any of the sorts advertised.

One of the worst Backrooms Games I have ever played. Graphics are complete ass. No Shadows, disgusting textures and horrible lighting. I have made games before and I know how difficult it is to make them, but this is just unacceptable. Not an ounce of care has gone into this game and it shows. The first thing you see when you start this game is obviously the main menu, but the carelessness starts here already. Some buttons are capitalized, some are not and for some reason there are two exit buttons. I know this is a rather small thing, but this would be such an easy fix that I am surprised someone could care so little to not even do that. Gameplay is ass too. Why do I need to hold left click for melee? Why not just let me click it once and the attack plays? Have the developers actually ever played ANY game? There are no settings in the game either, at least they are not accessible in-game, which is unfortunate because the FOV is ridiculously low. But there is some weird system for dialogue, which may seem cool, but actually serve no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ purpose whatsoever. I believe the developers genuinely didn't care about this game at all, because even with a 10 minute unreal tutorial this game would have been 100x better than it is now. I vehemently do not recommend this game to anyone. Buy something else please.

Solid game, fun dynamic, easy to understand, looking forward to further updates, great work from the creators.

i gave it a few chances, its too much of a janky mess to get enjoyment out of it. it made me frustrated the whole time i played it. its like the dev never seen how a game inventory works before, you cant access the options menu from in game, and if you try to back out to the main menu, the game soft crashes and you have to alt+f4 to close and restart it. there are no graphics options and there are some translation issues. too much jank, no idea where all the positive reviews are coming from tbh.
