Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora™

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a really good adventure, RPG, and survival game that prioritizes the world of Pandora & it's factions, animals, and plant life. It has fun and intuitive although tedious and frustrating collecting mechanics for fruit or any other material. The world map is large and vibrant with the wildlife & plant life that reacts to your presence in game, however it can feel a little lifeless when traveling from point A to point B The story is my main gripe, and I feel that the story is an issue with other people as well. Now, this game actually does have a story, but pacing & issues with the story have often times made it hard for me to enjoy the game when playing it again. Though there are some highlights I enjoy, it can be often annoying when the game could've done something better instead of the choice they made. I would say that if you want this game you would either be a really big fan of Avatar, or want to play something similar to Far Cry, pick it up at a discount. This game has some value with the DLC as well, so please try and get them on discount as well.

(★✩✩✩✩) I love avatar but this game is so boring and stupid. The cinematics are extremely boring, the voice actors are so bad. In 75 minutes of playing all I did was skip the cinematics and get annoyed when I hear these voices. The potential is there and it's very likely the game gets better as you visit the planet but with such slow progress I'd rather not.

I kinda love Frontiers of Pandora, It takes the Avatar IP and does enough to mold the Ubisoft open world formula to it for the full game to work beautifully. There are ways it should have gone further with everything but as is the mechanics do enough for me to really get into the world. The game is obviously stunning and sounds fantastic; and both DLC are quite meaty and improve upon the base game in every way. I haven't played the full expansion yet. So yeah this game very much gets what is good about Avatar(much better that the third movie did IMO) and carries those elements through a full proper open world game. Highly recommended.

Ненапряжный открытый мир, игра не заставляет Вас следовать по определенной миссии, можете летать на икране и чилить сколько хотите. После работы то что нужно) Если чуть упороться и насобирать самые редкие ингридиенты для крафта брони и оружия вообще проблем не будет. Управление удобное. Из минусов только отсутсвие русской озвучки (субтитры всем в помощь).

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! There is a known bug by ubisoft on 30%+ of the base game, "Escape Plan". I track back this issue and it was reported 2 years back, there seems to be having no work around other than asking for help in another bugged co-op game.

This is a great game. Ubisoft just really has the formula to make good Open World RPGs. Yeah sure, it feels the same as Assassin's Creed Origins, and Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Star Wars Outlaws, but they just really know how to make these games the way FromSoftware just knows how to make good Soulslikes. There's nothing much new in the mechanics department,(i really love the third person perspective update) but what they do with these games, they just do it really well and even if it seems repetitive or uninspired to some people, its so far up my alley its not even funny. Just like Tears of the Kingdom, there's something to see, something to do everywhere you go, and as a person not very good at shooters or anything involving stealth, the little sections where you take down full drilling and mining operations BY YOURSELF makes you feel like such a badass and it really helped me get a little bit better at this genre and want to go back to some of the ones I had gotten before and try to figure what about it didn't do it for me (IM STILL COLD WITH A BOW AND ARROW THO) and, I mean guys come on, you don't have to be a fan of the Avatar movies to see that Pandora is beautiful. If you've been on the fence about this or waiting for a sale, JUST BUY IT. even just buying the main game without the season pass is totally worth the price, sale or not.
