The game is beautiful and can be nice ... when you forget all the Ubisoft dogsh*t coding from gameplay to inventory to crafting to this stupid RPG light aspect of the game and the washed animations. ALSO : the From the Ashes DLC throw you in a mission that WILL SOFTLOCK you ! And kill your save ! The bug has been here since the release apparently and Ubi isn't doing anithing about it, you will be stuck in a cave forcing you to start another save. F*ck Ubisoft for throwing that bad on a game with such a good premise and licence.
Юбисофт так держать💪💪💪💪,как всегда получилась ♥♥♥♥♥,в своем духе,ни шагу вперед

Jogo EXTREMAMENTE bonito!
The world is beautiful, but I found the gameplay lacking. The 3D environment is often difficult to navigate and finding special items like magic trees that increase HP is often a pain and disorienting. (The game also overdoes it with all the collecting, crafting cooking etc.; not really my taste, but that would not justify the negative review.) The stealth/combat mechanics however are an absolute dealbreaker. You can hide 100 meters away from an enemy, use a silent bowshot to kill him but if there is another enemy near, every enemy wil now immediately know exactly where you are and you get bombared with shots, grenades etc. So you run away until they lose your track and then you repeat, always only getting only one shot in. So stealth is just too frustrating and slow to do. Direct combat OTOH, seems to be mainly a question of how many damage can you deal before you need healing (you can run away, hide, and your health will refill automatically), if there is any kind of tactics there I did not find it. In the end, I just found it too boring to have fun with for more than a few hours.
Let's start with what I love about this game. Exploration is amazing. Flying through the forest at night, riding the direhorse through the plains, running and climbing on trees (even though sometimes "parkour" feels clanky). It is all amazing. The environment is beautiful, the graphics are amazing (and somehow do not destroy my PC) and the feel of the game is really nice. I also really like the designs of the environments and props, especially clan grounds, Navi clothes and weapons. They are extremely detailed, have wonderful colors and are just great to look at. The overall environment is really well designed and you can see the work put into all of it. As many people said before, this game has some drawbacks. For example, repeating missions and quests (like destroying RDA facilities or their flying spots). I think that the rewards of killing random RDA patrols can be really good sometimes and I do feel bad for caught animals, so it can be rewarding. You have to accept the gathering by hand and a short prayer after each hunt. But it is a really good way to show the way of life on Pandora. I get how it can be annoying for some people, but I actually grew more fond of it, not less. It does build the immersion, at least for me. The story is okay. I like the premise, some characters are really nice, unfortunately some voice acting is not the best, but I cannot say that I hate the story or find it boring. It is just good, nothing spectacular but also not bad. Please let me date So'lek, I'm begging you. TL;DR All in all, I got really invested into the game despite some drawbacks. I am extremely happy for the 3rd person view, as I love watching all the incredible designs of weapons and clothes that you put on. I really enjoy the feel of the game. And after taking all of the good and the bad into consideration, I can recommend it.
Stunning game, All the dlc's are worth playing aswell, a few bugs here and there, but nothing that ruins the overal feel when playing. The flying on the ikran is a bit too slow in my opinion, other than that it's pretty damn good. Would highly recommend
This is my 100th review, so it's not going to be a typical review, rather it's a tribute. A quick disclaimer: I’m an HSP (highly sensitive person), which means I experience the world around me very intensely. So this review isn’t based on raw facts, nor is it a list of pros and cons. It’s simply a tribute to a game that has deeply moved me. I'm not the type to hide emotions because they seem “too much” for some, so just skip this review if you’re looking for factual information or feel annoyed by people who express their feelings. I rarely ever struggle to put my feelings into words nowadays, but there's this one feeling that every HSP would explain as "makes me feel like I've swallowed a bolt of lightning". It's a very deep feeling of happiness. I can't help but grin from ear to ear, small tears well up in my eyes, and I feel an incredible peace inside me. It's a feeling I often have in my everyday life when people or experiences make me happy, but I can only name a handful of games that have touched me the same way. I feel deeply grounded and at home when in nature, and any game that recreates that feeling of nature so well through its technical execution, yet crafts a personal, magical experience, is something special to me. I don't even have my Ikran, yet in 56 hours I've explored as much of the map as possible. When a game really moves me, I don't need a spectacular campaign or a world crammed full of loot. I'm looking for a feeling, a vibe—something that connects me to the world and makes me want to discover it fully on my own. Avatar lets me jump from tree to tree, dive down waterfalls, and run through rain and storms in the gleaming world of Pandora while trees and wildlife rustle all around me. Sometimes I’m just sitting around in these worlds, eating some snacks in real life, and just enjoying the atmosphere and music. Now, Avatar is one of them. And I'm deeply grateful for that. Well, enough words for now. Pandora is waiting, and I’m ready to return home.
Due to its launcher, I'm absolutely don't recommend the game. While it plays kinda ok, I can't get it running when I need to. It takes tons of attempts to sync profiles with their launcher. Anyway, I think it's not only my issue and gamers need to denounce these practices.
