[h3] PLOT [/h3] Somewhat predictable/linear. The ending wasn't very climactic. It's decent and basic. The climax was a completely avoidable conflict if only the protagonist were less self-centered. The pace is not rushed and the protagonist's background is fleshed out. [h3] OPTIONS [/h3] The options are there only to make dialogue exciting. Otherwise, they are inconsequential, except for the final option that determines which ending you get. By 'determine', I mean you literally get to pick. [h3] CHARACTERS [/h3] The protagonist, whom we play as, is not very likeable. She is opinionated and often self-centered with an aura of moral superiority, making it difficult to want to be represented by her in the game. The game is in the POV of the protagonist, so there are a lot of monologues which are hard to relate to because the character is written with highly specific traits - probably the author's own personality, traits, and desires. The love interest was alright. His personality was well-explored. The [spoiler] pet, Ulysses, [/spoiler] could've been more meaningful to the plot. It was emotionally important according to the narration, but it only made occasional appearances and was nothing more than an easy unexplained plot device. [h3] DIALOGUE/NARRATION [/h3] A good portion of the dialogue/monologue was not necessary to the plot. There is a lot to read. Perhaps it was intended to show the characters' personalities, but they were often heavy and boring. You may like the dialogue if you have a similar personality to the protagonist. Like I said, it's highly specific and difficult to relate to. The narration managed to be profound at some crucial parts, but could not redeem the rest of the game. [h3] VISUALS/MUSIC [/h3] Still images of around 3 different poses and 3 different facial expressions. No animations. Only 3 special scenes, almost all of which are in the product description/trailer. A single slow relaxing music that is on loop throughout the entire play. Around 2 other soundtracks for when the mood shifts. [h3] OVERALL [/h3] It's basically a Wattpad romance fiction.
