having spent dozens of hours playing this game, i have a love-hate relationship with it. the campaign, though it has come very far, still has issues that can make the experience very frustrating, particularly the aspect of trying to meet demographic demands. the feeling of success is rewarding enough to make up for it imo. as for the car design part itself, its pretty good. the selection of bodies and fixtures can be quite limited, especially when you have a certain image in mind, so using mods is highly recommended.

Very glitchy, EA and all. When it WORKS though? Holy eeffoc it WORRKKSS!! If you like tycoons? Fun time sink. If you like MAKING stuff, fun time sink. If you like car engines, fun time sink. You don't need to be good at all three, or even just one, you can learn all IN-GAME! This game has suuuch a promising 1.0 future. Like dude. Give it a try when you get the money, it's really worth it. Paired with Beam.NG, you can test out and DRIVE your own creations, a creative's DREAM! I can make my own Ferrari F12 if I wanted to.. Enjoyable, highly. 10/10.
