Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Not recommended now for single player. Wait for multiplayer support maybe. This game seems to be more on the casual side. The enemy AI is not that bright so the game is very easy with little effort to strategizing a winning victory. I found myself just building random catapults (exactly 2 so it's not too many so they continue to multiply) to take the guys out of the initial town and then made them stay put to multiply near the landed spot by building taverns. Then built 2 catapults again to move them elsewhere and a tavern to have them multiply there. Then just rinse and repeat. Not too much strategy to it. Just multiply your guys like crazy as fast as possible which isn't too hard to do. As of now without multiplayer, the enemy AI is way too easy even on the hardest mode. I managed to beat the game on easy, medium and hard all in a row, my first 3 games. If played with other players then might be more of a challenge. I'll change my review if I see it's fun to play with others. I'm not entirely sure if playing with others is fun though since there's really not much strategy to it, but then again, I was never forced to use any strategy fighting against a really dumb enemy AI. Content is very very lacking for a $9 price tag. You can get litterally 100x more content from games that are about $15 ilke Fortress Craft or a more similar game like Plague Evolved, Inc. which has a great multiplayer dynamic with much more interesting gameplay and truly a game difficult to master the strategy to. Or if you want another strategy game that's as simple as this, there's a ton of Casuals out there at $2 or less. I'd say for the amount of content this game has, I would categorize it as Casual and I wouldn't pick it up for more than $1.99 as it stands now.

This game...hmm how do I say this it is simple and in its simplicity it focuses on the fundamentals of programming and even is reflective of the global economy. To summarize it is brilliant in its simplicity. Please get multiplayer soon...this game is on the level of Chess and Go.
Great game and tons of fun once you figure out how to win =)
Easy to learn Quicky game play Great causual game to kill a few minutes here and there with.
I'm old enough to remember playing a version of Conway's Game of Life on a Radio Shack TRS-80. Adding the upgrades (roads/shields/swords) add an interesting twist, yet the game remains well balanced and true to Conway's conceptualization. Interested to see if I can get "gliders" or some of the other unique patterns that I remember. The music is great as are those little critters. Even in Easy mode, this game is challenging. A lot of frustration can be avoided by reading the Tutorial. Great game! I'd recommend that the developer add a 'Sandbox' mode that simply runs the algorithm. The player can just watch what happens, or add some of the upgrades to mess with the little critters lives.
Buyer beware. Its been three mnoths now since a 'fire' prevented it from being available at release. Still no multiplatyer in sight. I finished everything on the hardest level in a couple hours. There is still no multiplayer. The idea is good, it does not have multiplayer as advertised though.
I really like this game. I was on the steam store and just happened to buy it the day (or maybe day after) it released and I was extremely pleased. The cellular automata idea is really a cool one. That said, there are a couple things that need mentioning if you're thinking about buying it. 1. Knowledge of Conway's Game of Life would benefit you greatly. I've noticed a couple people saying they're confused by the mechanics, but it's just a modified version of Conway's Game of Life, turned into an actual game. 2. There are ways to annihilate the computer player easily. If you destroy all your buildings, your cells will propogate into the world quite well. That said, I don't think that's a problem. The idea of the game is to use strategy to defeat the opponent, and that's really fun to do. Letting the game play itself doesn't even benefit you. The value of a victory in this game is that you were able to outplay the opponent, so if you didn't play at all, you gain nothing from a win. Neither of those are bad things, Just maybe something to keep in mind if you're thinking about buying it. Overall I like the game, personally I think it's fine as it is, but I'm excited to see where it goes.
Fun little strategy game inspired by conways game of life. I dont think the principle is "shallow" because it has a lot of ways to experiment with very simple rules..kind of like chess...if your into that you will like it. Also the Dev seems really active fixing bugs and listening to suggestions...something that is rare and deserves support.
Great Indie RPG, I just won my first game, and honestly, I am still figuring out how to play. This game is waay too under-rated, lots of fun.
