Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 27 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Astrologaster is an amazing display of what bringing together historical research and game design can do. It's an engaging and genuinely funny story with very a very high production value. Being an astrology nerd helps but is not required. Just make sure you don't go in expecting a choose-your-own-adventure type of game. This is for all intends and purposes a visual novel, and while you can choose between different diagnoses and predictions to the visitors that come to the good doctor for advise, this can for the most part only affect your character's relationship with them, not the overall flow of the story.
This is the very reason Indies should be cherish'd, and why wise patrons ought to keep their purses open! Here is a veritable jewel amongst interactive tales. 'Tis deck'd in fair, modest paintings, graced with splendid voice-work, and — good heavens! — each chapter is heralded by a merry sextet singing the tale in madrigal verse. I ne'er once thought to skip an introduction. The writing overfloweth with wit, and scarce a trifle is spoken that doth not earn a smile. Every coin spent upon this production hath plainly been well bestow'd. Yet the greatest delight lieth beyond the stars themselves. Thou must ever decide whether to give the reading that seemeth most sound, most pleasing to thy querent, or most profitable to thyself. Mayhap none is wholly right, and therein lieth the sport. Better still, this merry fiction is rooted in truth. Simon Forman was indeed a physician and astrologer, many of his patients are drawn from his actual casebooks, and the game is richly sprinkled with real folk and happenings from the twilight of Good Queen Bess and the dawning of King James. Methinks I learnt more of that age's politics, gossip, and common life than from many a sober history. Verily, I came expecting but a pleasant diversion. I departed wiser, and exceedingly well entertain'd.

So funny, voice acting and singing are amazingly well done
AN INDIE GEM THIS ONE. Choose your own adventure visual novel game that is funny, witty, silly & theatrical. If you like visual novel games and a bit of history this game is great. Gameplay is not perfect but still bearable, sometimes the subtitles go a bit quicker than the characters are speaking them but it’s really well voice acted. I love that you aren’t required to press buttons to prompt each line of dialogue like in other visual novels I’ve played, where in this one it just plays until you’re actually required to interact ie. picking options. And I think changing scenes with a ‘flip of the page’ like you’re reading a book is fun. Loving this so far!
Such an extraordinarily wondrous game with a historical background, verily! Nay, not only the Old English tongue but also behold the consequences of mine own decisions, which hath utterly captivated me, to the point that I did play through the whole game in but 7.5 hours on a single day! It is truly a lovingly and historically wrought comedy about the life of the unlicensed doctor and astrologer, Master Simon Forman, set in the decades around the year of our Lord 1600. The musical interludes are simply delightful, as is the accent of each soul that seeketh counsel. Methinks the game hath also stirred in me a great curiosity to fathom more about the historical happenings in England during that time, so I shall verily delve deeper into English history (and also into the Old English phrases which I do absolutely cherish!). I shall also peruse the link to the case summaries of Doctor Simon Forman, which remain preserved in their original handwritten manner in the Bodleian Library of Oxford. This game is most heartily and unreservedly recommended! Huzzah! I am truly thrilled! Pray, prithee, enjoy this marvel as I have. https://casebooks.lib.cam.ac.uk/
This game took me 5-6 hours to complete. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I loved the art, the historical context, and the many little funny parts included, as well as the challenge of figuring out the best readings for various characters and situations. Would definitely recommend for fans of the English Renaissance period.
I don't get it. Boring as hell. Closed the game after 10 minutes.
