A very good game despite a few fatal errors and collision bugs with the environment. The most frustrating thing is that the game, it's boss challenges are so buggy that you have to reload your save, to quit the challenge and start it again Update: And now I can't finish the game because it crashes every 5 minutes, and on top of that the bugs that were fun at the beginning are starting to get annoying by the end
Astor: Blade of the Monolith is rough around the edges, but fun little adventure. I thoroughly enjoyed the game art and the simple yet satisfying weapon combo system. Sometimes I felt like the music lacked a certain oomph for the moments during which it was playing. In general, whether due to technical issues or in general, the music, sounds and narration felt a little understated. The character designs are fun! Love me some stilt-legged soul-powered automata. The golems were also lovely. The emphasis on Diokek culture is understandable, but I really wish we could see more of golem culture, developed in isolation as it is. The sequel hook did not escape my notice, so I am looking forward to that. One day, hopefully. ;) Now I am going to address an elephant in the room, as it were. As a big fan of a LEGO BIONICLE toyline, I could not help but draw parallels in certain aspects of the worldbuilding and the unfolding story, though I feel like it's just a coincidence. We have a race of advanced beings that went extinct, leaving behind a multitude of artificial drones/servitors wearing masks that hold great cultural significance for them. We have a prophecy of a chosen one rising to the occasion to defeat the big evil guy who struck down his original creator in an act of jealousy, thus plunging the entire world into "The Great Cataclysm" (both the toyline's lore and the game use this very specific combination of words). The villain seemingly returning to haunt and enslave the masked servitors after 1000 years of building up and scheming. I might have missed/forgot some other points of comparison, but that's what I have noticed. Not saying the developers have borrowed from BIONICLE or anything, again, might just be a coincidence, and all of that just means that this game and its lore was very much up my alley. Some of potential criticisms I have is being locked by stagger/knockdown from enemies, especially the beam-shooting Ancient drones. I have also bugged out a certain boss in its challenge form and couldn't damage it, so I had to restart the fight. anyway, I think I'd rate the game at a comfortable 8.5/10, and I will most likely revisit it for NG+ some time later, as well as look forward to the sequel. Cheers y'all!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
