Un gran Metroidvania con una duración perfecta. Hacer el 100% de la aventura puede llevar entre 15 y 20 horas, pero desbloqueamos varios modo de juego tras completarlo. Te lo acabas "rápido" , pero si te has quedado con ganas de mas tienes esos modos de juego que añaden mejoras y no un simple nuevo Juego+. En mi opinión es una aventura muy agradable y amena, acompañada por una gran banda sonora que acompaña de maravilla. Ah y esta en Español aunque la pagina de la tienda indica lo contrario.

I thoroughly enjoyed exploring Astalon's dank castle corridors and dark depths. It mostly keeps you to your own wits, letting you figure out what items do and where to go at your own pace. I was pleasantly surprised that I kept finding meaningful secrets and hidden paths to the very end.

Kinda slow start but after a while it gets really good. A solid 9/10.
This is such a great game. They really nailed the classic side-scrolling metroidvania vibe, and the combination of metroidvania and roguelite goes pretty well together in this case. The story has some actual substance with a relatively dark tone. There are a few glitches here and there, but nothing game breaking or major enough that it ruins the game. My main complaint is that there’s so much backtracking, which is maybe reminiscent of older metroid games as well, so take that however you will. But I generally love the level design. The soundtracks are amazing as well. Highly recommend.
What makes Astalon special is not the lush 8-bit graphics, the anime gothic level design, or the crunchy awkward Castlevania combat. Any good retro studio could probably achieve something similar with enough effort. What makes Astalon special is how it nails the bizarro-logic of NES-era game design. There were no industry best practices back then -- to progress you had to put yourself in the beautiful but imperfect mind of the game maker. That makes the experience occasionally frustrating but deeply human, and for that I love it.
