Existem várias palavras que poderiam definir Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Legado. União. Liberdade.

It's a decent enough game but the fact that it asks me for my Ubisoft password every single time I reboot the computer - and it also asks me to link it with a stupid Facebook account - forces me to not recommend this game. Ubisoft are still making money from this game. The very least they could do is fix stupid bugs like this. They just want your money - they don't care about gamers.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is in many ways a direct improvement over its predecessor. How Ubisoft Montreal managed to do this in only a year's time is quite mind blowing. Many of my personal gripes with AC2 center around gameplay, and Brotherhood fixes most of them. Parkour feels a lot more reliable, and combat flows much better with execution-chaining mechanic and the recruit system. This makes Brotherhood a more fun version of AC2. However, the very short dev cycle is noticeable too. Brotherhood has a relatively short story with a limited cast of Templars, but has a lot more side content that was put in as filler, pretty much the opposite of AC2 which featured a more expansive main story while having little side content. The padding in Brotherhood also extends into the main story, sequence 7 being especially egregious with it. Only to be followed by 8 & 9 which just gave up on having some sort of flow, just chaining together objectives one after the other. That said, this critique comes mostly from the perspective of "what if they had been given more time?". How many of the filler Templar missions could've been more than a simple box to check? Clearly there were ideas for targets or storylines, but they couldn't be given the time properly . But this critique extends beyond the side missions. Many characters have too little to say or do in the story because they lacked the time to do more. Even Leonardo Da Vinci barely had any lines until they relased some DLC centered around him. At the same time, lots of effort was put into the Romulus lairs and Leonardo's war machines, which break up the core gameplay loop. All of them were really well done. Roma itself is also excellent, with a darker atmosphere that is present in the visuals and OST, which is fantastic again. One thing though, this game likes imposing a "don't be spotted" requirement in missions too often given how the detection system is still awful. Being detected by a guy whose throat you've already pierced with your hidden blade, just because you're a milisecond too late according to the game despite the guy never making a sound, and then forcing me to redo several minutes at a time..not good.
I've loaded it up and played two or three times over the years. It's a good one as far as the Ezio stories go. Still looks decent and has a big city to explore. Plays stable on Windows 11, though I once had to change the resolution/frame rate to complete a flying mission because that one's glitchy now. Since the old servers are no longer functioning and Ubisoft tied some of the game function to that because they weren't thinking ahead, a few pieces of the game are missing, most notably the investments. But it's still playable, you can still buy shops to generate income, and gold quickly becomes a non-issue after a couple of hours. So it's not a big deal. But the Ubisoft launcher is ridiculous. It just randomly suspended my account for no reason. I played for 3 days, beat it again, and was noodling around to finishing buying all the landmarks and other completion stuff. Just enjoying the scenery. Log in on day 4 and it says my account is suspended. Apparently this is a big problem these days with this old Ubisoft stuff. It appears to be random. Some days I'm suspended and some days there's no problem logging in. Really obnoxious to be locked out of all your Ubisoft games because of one you bought 15 years ago.
