Assassin's Creed™: Director's Cut Edition

Turn off your internet to make it run and expect the occasional random crash, but apart from that it's a great PC port. Didn't really encounter stuttering or gameplay issues on my dinosaur of a computer, and as long as you had your controller plugged in 3 business days before booting up the game it worked fine. Lack of subtitles is lame tho For the story/gameplay, it's only repetitive if you fly through the missions and don't slow down to enjoy both stories. There is depth and nuance to the characters, specifically those you are sent to assassinate. There is also a lot more story behind Desmond than I originally noticed as a kid in 2007. Definitely worth replaying if you haven't in a while, and a classic for any who haven't experienced the start of the franchise yet

Game is honestly just fine. Feels less like a real game and more like a tech demo now. You basically just rinse and repeat the same 4-5 tasks over and over.

Great game, but the parkour can make me wanna cry sometimes. I love the story and the progression of each character, and how the story follows in revaluations. This was a great start to a franchise that I loved as a kid.

De fato ele tem os problemas de ser muito repetitivo nas missões (Que apesar de divertidas são sim bem repetitivas) e a falta de coisa pra fazer no mundo aberto além das próprias missões em si, a jogabilidade é ok pra época assim como os gráficos. Foi interessante ver a jornada de aprendizado do protagonista e como foi o desfecho do primeiro titulo dessa enorme saga. Obs: Tive que jogar o jogo no arquivo EXE da pasta pq na versão Steam ele tenta iniciar conectado aos servidores dele que nem existem mais, então ele trava no primeiro minuto.

get the AC1EAGLEPATCH and all is well. i couldnt believe how good this game still is. sure the gameplay is a bit repetitive, but to be honest running through the cities doing the same 6 or 7 things never got old for me. not to mention u only need to do 2 investigations to start the assassinations anyway. if you are on the fence about playing this again in 2026, being that the game is so old now, id say go for it. i was in a bit of a gamers block but this game snapped me out of it. nostalgia mixed with the story got its hooks right in me. the art direction in this game was amazing. All bow to Altair, where it all started. i mentioned this at the beginning, but make sure to get the AC1 eaglepatch, it makes the game way better, like WAY better.
