Assassin's Creed Valhalla is simply too long. I don't mind long games, but Valhalla takes it way too far. If you want to experience pretty much everything the game has to offer, you're looking at 200+ hours, and honestly, that's excessive for an Assassin's Creed game and arguably excessive for almost any game. The map is beautiful, and exploring England and Norway can be genuinely enjoyable. The environments are varied, the world looks great, and there are some really nice locations to discover. The combat is also fun. Fighting with axes, swords, shields, and different abilities feels satisfying, and there is enough variety to keep the combat entertaining for quite a while. But then you have the story. For a game this massive, I expected something much stronger. There are good moments and interesting characters, but overall the story doesn't feel strong enough to justify the enormous amount of time you're expected to invest. The pacing suffers badly because you're constantly jumping from one region and storyline to another. And that's the biggest problem with Valhalla: there is simply too much content. Instead of making the world feel full and rewarding, the enormous amount of activities eventually makes it feel like a checklist. You can spend dozens of hours doing things that don't feel particularly meaningful just because they're there. And once again, we have the same problem with modern Assassin's Creed: This barely feels like Assassin's Creed anymore. You're playing a Viking RPG with Assassin's Creed elements rather than actually feeling like an Assassin. The stealth, assassinations, parkour, and social stealth that defined the series are no longer the focus.
Game is quite long, can be good or bad depending upon your interest. Sometimes it gets boring, but most of the time it keeps you engaged.
Peak fun addictive it does a lot bad things to the game but overall very good game and runs really well and looks very realistic
