Assassin's Creed 2

Muy buen juego 10/10

My favorite game in the series. Not as good combat as Brotherhood but the story was better and the modern day storyline was top notch as well. The Ezio trilogy was awesome. Sadly Constantinople in the third of the Ezio games, while it had some new gadgets, was a step back from Brotherhood in world design and story. However the Assassin's Creed Series, at least the first 4 games, will go down as one of the best series ever. From AC3 onward it was a slow decline until Origins, which would have been a nice one-off experiment but it has gone full bore with the giant empty world with minimal story. Just a ton of side content and extremely mediocre modern story with a completely boring and inane protagonist, Ms Hasan. Her only weakness is she doesn't believe in her own perfection yet, but after Odyssey she does. The games after AC3 but before the giant live service single player games are hit or miss with most being miss. Black Flag 4 is a good game, but bad AC game. AC Unity has some minor strengths but the forced online co-op to get the best gear was a big letdown at launch especially since it didn't work and lead to the live service model. Slop reply minor multiplayer missions and repeat. The one in London I can't even be bothered to remember had Jack the Ripper but also the first game with no prostitution. I wonder who Ole' Jack killed then. And it was the first game with major progressive ideas overriding the AC historical setting. They topped their letdowns though over and over. AC Origins was the last Assassin's Creed game with any story at all and it was decent, even though it read like the recent Cleopatra documentary based on someone being told by their Granmama. Bayak was a great character and Aya was ok, but out of place. But it was all topped by AC Shadows, finally an AC Game in Japan, but nope, you can't play as a ninja. Just Naoaoao or whatever her name was. A 1900's era romance novel plot where women could be ninjas. Not Hitori Hanzo or something interesting but Nonypoo the Ninja and the first historically "accurate" character of all times in an AC game. Yasuki, who spent a few months in Japan before returning to slavery in Europe, but somehow he mastered all Japanese arts that take a lifetime to in that time and even banged Oda Nobunaga's wife, who has been the symbol of purity in the Japanese culture since she was alive. Or you could bang some guy, progressively of course. The DLC was tops too, best of writing from the born in the 90s crowd who could not write that water is wet if it was not approved in some struggle session. So try AC2, its great, unlike everything Ubisoft puts out since AC Revelations.
