For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

About

ASHGARD: Infinity Mask is an atmospheric third-person action-adventure that combines intense melee and ranged combat with platforming, puzzles, and a deep narrative. Inspired by Norse mythology, the game takes you into a world after Ragnarök – shattered, forgotten, and full of secrets.

You play as Embla, an Androm – a hybrid being of machine and human soul. Awakened on a scrapyard with no memory of the time before the fall, you embark on a journey through decaying villages, vibrant biomes, and ancient temples to uncover your origin and the truth behind the Infinity Mask. The deeper you venture into the world, the more you discover about the Ragnarök that once occurred – and the role the gods played in it.

Master challenging battles against other Androms and various corruption-born creatures to help Embla unleash her full strength. But beware: some enemies are extremely powerful and will require both careful preparation and strategic thinking to defeat.

With different gadgets and abilities, you can guide Embla through the world in various ways. Each gadget grants unique powers and can also be used in combat to gain an advantage.

Collect Nidra to upgrade your equipment, purchase support items, or expand your skill tree. Every upgrade affects your stats differently, so it’s worth exploring the world and finding as many unique items as possible!

Also absolut solide Performence.
Liebes Ashgard Games Team, weiter so!

Sometimes I struggle to understand the dynamics of the indie game market. From what I've played, everything about this game is at least solid, partially decent and even great. It has all the accessibility stuff a game needs, like key rebinding, camera options like smoothing, axis invert, toggles for things like motion blur, DOF, holding keys for sprinting and crouching and so on. Plenty of options for sounds and graphics, too. Even some AAA games at a much higher price point fail to deliver those really important things! It looks good, plays smooth and has a nice tutorial with already fun little exploration detours. Level design seems to be a strength here, which would be half the battle for an exploration based game in my books. Everything feels really polished for an early access souls-lite game. And it only is a souls-lite, I guess, because it even has four difficulty options from story mode to nightmare. Which is great! I can feel and see the dedication and the passion for the craft of the developers everywhere here. Obviously, I've played Ashgard only for a short time, so this cannot be a "real" review. I havn't played enough to say anything about things like story or progression systems. In this short time there wasn't a single bug, so there's that. I only write this review because, as I said, sometimes I struggle to understand the indie game market. This game has no obvious flaws and some really nice things going for it, but it sits at 7 reviews, while a title like Windrose sells over a million copies in a few days. Which is a relatively usual suvival crafter with a pirate paint over. Ok, these are not my types of games, as I don't like tedious mining and farming and so on, so I'm biased here. But the question remains: Is this really appropriate? I think not; for me it's really unjustified that it hasn't gotten more attention. So for a little bit more visibility: Ashgard is a promising game with great potential. In fact it's one of the best souls-lite-somethings I've tested, with plenty of accessibility options and a lot of things going for it. It's not of the same quality like Kena: Bridge of Spirits, but this is only fitting, as the team is even smaller than at Ember Labs, and it's in early access. Please, support such small games with great scopes.

Even tough ASHGUARD: Infinity Mask is still a bit rough around the edges in its current (EA) state, I can see the potential of a really fun Action-Adventure Platformer. The setting reminds me a lot of Biomutant with the rusty architecture being taken back by nature and the soundtrack captures this really well (especially the main theme is really catchy!). I also like the characters a lot: Embla looks cool and all the important NPCs all have unqiue designs as well. The gameplay and exploration is already good, altough some places probably still lack correct loot as I only got like 200 XP for doing a 2-story maze and a single enemy gives more than that. Also some of the movements that are shown in the trailer like the wallrunning and gliding where not possible yet (or at least I did not know how that is done). Having in mind that this is a small team and that it just released (in EA), I can forgive the bugs I encountered during the 1st part and look forward to what comes next!
Hier kann was Großes entstehen.
Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
This game probably has a wealth of potential hidden behind it, but I didn't enjoy my short time in it. To help explain I'll try to provide some criticisms here. The tutorial sequence in the junkyard is very long. It was long enough that when I finished the first boss (no deaths or wasting time) it was about 30 minutes into my playthrough. I feel like that's far longer than what I actually learned which was to swing a sword, shoot a crossbow, block, and dodge roll. The platforming puzzles were nice, if not a bit straightforward. Removing the buttons to shoot from some sections could make this go by faster, and the side path chests felt rewarding. Even the one with 2500 currency (vita?) even though I have no idea what that was for. The shield felt extremely clunky, slow to draw, and the tutorial mentioned being able to parry but I could not get that to happen. Likely a skill issue on my part, or due to how slow the shield draws the timing is very disjointed. The combat is pretty standard, nothing really stood out to me. The camera angle feels way to low when locked on, and the camera is pretty jarring when moving from one enemy to another while locked on. I think the movement speed of enemies is way to fast, especially for early enemies. When every encounter has 1-2 archers standing on a ledge out of reach it's kind-of annoying. They shoot rapidly and while not really a threat just makes the combat feel more annoying. Having some way to pull them down, or just placing them on the ground would make this better, especially with enemies being a bit slower so you actually have time to deal with them. Right now the combat feels like I should just be beating up what's in front of me then just healing. Especially in the early section since there's so many checkpoints. Finally my quit moment came when the game revealed it's true open-world nature and showed me moments of gameplay. The sequence with the loaded scenes was interesting if a little jarring, but the wingsuit image looked really cool to me. I was excited to go explore the open-world and see what there is. Immediately on exiting the sequence I am asked to follow the tin-can robot somewhere, but I see a side path immediately to my right. I try to go down it but am forced to follow the robot and my character is turned around. I'm not sure how long I have to follow this robot, or if the next 10-30 minutes is also going to be spent down a linear progression and forced route. At what point does the game open to me? Why go through an entire sequence showing me all the cool places to explore in the world if that's not something to try to do? I can see the vision for this game, and it is probably a game that would appeal to me heavily since I love souls-like and exploration games. But for some reason this one did not connect. I would probably try again when this game fully releases.
