Enjoyable tower defense. Great amount of replayability due to challenges of the same levels. Good achievements. Would recommend.
Good game

Very linear and kills creativity,as there often is only a singular way to play the levels correctly in order to beat them.It leaves no room for tactical placement and free thinking.Everything must be perfectly aligned from top to bottom, while the game obviously doesn't tell you how to while simultaneously throwing massive amounts of enemies at you in early rounds, which it expects you to withstand while not knowing what you can expect to emerge from the portal(maybe cuz its your first time playing perhaps? I wonder if the devs had ever put themselves in this situation).I must say i usually do not mind the simplicity of a games mechanic, but the way they prepare you for hordes with little amounts of towers does not align with what you have to deal with, meaning if youre actually going for the 100%,trial and error becomes an obligation, and overthinking only makes your playthrough worse apparently,as there is(as i said) little to no freedom over your tower placement.Other than that its your average Indie TD with about 30 levels, thats it.
Really fun TD with a two game modes: relaxed and tryhard, which ever youre looking for. Lots of variety in maps by restricted tower and income selection, which forces player to switch tactics and maze style. As other reviews say, this is a puzzle style TD game. Figuring the puzzle for each level was fun for me, but might put other people off.
One of the worst TD ever seen. You can not be creative and experiment with tower setups. Its bascially more a puzze not a towerdefense. The authors had a solution in mind and if you dont follow the path they have planed you will not succeed. I will not refund it because i bought it for 3 $ . Its okay for that price.
I wanted to take a quick minute to say if you like classic TD games this is it. It is a crafted TD experience. Offers max difficulty and has a built in modifier that gives more resources to help. If you are a fan of PixelJunk Monsters TD game this is a similar vein minus the controllable character. The focus is: mazing/labyrinth building, adjusting towers to waves, upgrade efficiency. In some cases, not sure what the shorthand of it is called but on that final big wave where you have to sell half your towers on the front side to handle the wave on the backside, there is a lot of that too. The tower upgrades are very linear too. You can feel the power increase and not get lost in what specific tower attribute to level. The lack of freedom here feels good. Also, ice towers are your friend. You basically have to weave them throughout your entire maze. All in all, I would say this is one of the best Humble Bundle games I have received. I am only about a 3rd of the way through and only a couple of levels I have reached true perfected on (Nightmare - no leak), but getting a perfect on Nightmare even with Prince feels just as well earned. Also another amazing feature is you can go back to a specific wave. There will be time I didn't notice I had a leak or my build order is not working and I can backup one wave at a time to find the leak and start from there. None of this "oh you had a leak, you have to start from wave 1 and waste 10min of your life to see if your new strategy will work 5 waves from now". This HEAVILY considers my time as a gamer dad that loves TD games. So this game is very CORE TD with quality of life considerations. I will buy EVERY TD this developer makes, full price even if they keep pumping them out. Part of me wouldn't mind if they keep things the same, just cosmetically different enemies/mechanics/towers, but wouldn't mind trying their take on some more progressive TD mechanics (rogue-like upgrade trees, tower fusions, separate base build concept).
