Gear up for a battle through hell in this roguelite Bullet Heaven Arena Autoshooter with Doom-inspired gore vibes, metal music, and a satisfying combat feel. Wield five weapons at once, upgrade and merge them to forge indestructible builds, and bring divine justice to a world on the brink of chaos.

Fire ranged and melee weapons simultaneously using up to 5 sacred 'arms'. As you face hordes of demons, you gain strength - sanctify your weapons and use mechanical arms to fulfill God's will upon the mortal realm and save it from the infernal conflagration.

In Arms of God every enemy type you encounter is a unique challenge. Each creature possesses distinct skills, attack patterns, and behaviors, making every battle a test of strategy and skill. Adapt your tactics, learn from each confrontation, and prove your mastery over the infernal legions.

Choose from 60 unique weapons - both ranged and melee - and learn ruthless ways to upgrade and merge several of them into a single monstrosity, creating builds so powerful they erase demon hordes and towering bosses back into the abyss. Mix weapons with upgrades to forge even more surprising combinations and uncover hidden synergies.

Begin your crusade by reclaiming the Order's headquarters - The Cathedral - from the clutches of demonic forces. Once liberated, this sacred bastion becomes your strategic hub for meta-progression. Hone your skills in the Training Ground to enhance your meta-stats, forge mighty weapons in the Armory, boost your in-game abilities in the Alchemy Chamber, and summon new valiant heroes from the Bell Tower.

Choose from among 10 different heroes, each with distinct abilities reshaping gameplay. Level up, evolve your character through meta-progression, and forge your path to the deepest abyss of hell, where you shall confront the ultimate infernal force. Fight through 60 handcrafted levels set across unique locations, each telling fragments of the story through the world itself - ruins, relics, and the scars of the apocalypse revealing the truth behind the fall of mankind.

really good game

one of the greatest game made by one devs. GG really fun game with insane music for killing demons :D
It's in the right track
I admire that it does interesting things and is one of the more innovative games in the genre. That said, in its current state it isn't really scratching the itch for me. Things I disliked in current (early access!) state: - It took several hours of play before I ever felt challenged in a run (first death being in 5th run) and by then it felt more about luck and some aspects I had low control of suddenly killing me than the challenge feeling satisfying. - The runs feel very samey. I've tried 4 characters and leaned heavily into about 6 distinct builds. I'm not feeling much difference in experience between builds/characters. But more importantly, when I play a run, there's not really upgrades that excite or surprise me or feel to me like they're changing things much from "exactly what I expected, and same experience as previous run". - The meta progression systems try novel things - but with really messy UX that makes everything massively more cumbersome than it needs to be, and it isn't really drawing me in or feeling interesting to me. - Some things are not yet explained very well and it's rather unclear to me what's going on or how it works. Likely to just be early access issue. - Balance felt weird and often unsatisfying to me (again probably an early access issue). Hours of play without challenge, followed by deaths which felt unsatisfying and like not much could have been done, into runs where the early game is by far the most challenging and the late game and endbosses are trivial when I make it that far - without feeling like I made strong tradeoffs in that direction to get there. The game is interesting and shows promise (and more innovation and daring than a good deal of other games in the genre). I don't particularly regret spending money on it. But at the current state it didn't manage to hook me.
I like it a lot. The core gameplay is a lot like brotato, but with a couple of new ideas added. Nice game!
