Я любитель выживалок, но это просто ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Наверное, хуже я уже не увижу. Начнем по пунктам 1) Ясен ♥♥♥ это оптимизация - ее тут просто нет. Я понимаю, что можно как-то поебаться и выставить все как надо и ты получишь норм фпс. Я как человек имеющий мощный комп, привык выставлять все +- на ультрах в 2к, но тут это кнчн полный пздц. Мало того, что игра выглядит как рыготня, так и фпс тут 60 еле еле. Я уже промолчу, что разработчики сами за всех написали про режим без dlss нереально. ♥♥♥♥♥, они были действительно правы. 2) Это буквально донатная ♥♥♥♥♥, которая выкачивает из тебя кучу денег, а на деле ты получаешь тот же старый арк, но только на анрил 5 движке и больше НИЧЕГО. Все те же проблемы как и со старой игрой 3) Вес игры просто КОСМИЧЕСКИЙ ♥♥♥♥♥. Вот ну что тут может весить 200+ гб, для меня объем не проблема, но мне страшно за других людей, у кого компьтер в разы слабее моего..... И это только 1 игра весит 200+ гб, я молчу про dls которые еще и платные. 4) Я опоздал поиграть в старый арк. Когда я его купил, то там уже было пусто по серверам и официальных серверов уже не было. ♥♥♥♥♥, да тут просто ничего не изменилось,все почти тоже самое, как и в старом арке, только есть оф сервера, где и то пинг 190-170 НА ЕВРОПЕ ♥♥♥♥♥. И то полный сервер ты просто не найдешь. Мне вот просто интересно, а где онлайн в 10к+ игроков, если все серваки пустые просто. Да и с неофициальными серверами тоже все хуево, пинг пздц, онлайна нормального просто нет 5) Перевод этой игры это кнчн пздц, почему вместо кнопки назад, у меня написано спина ♥♥♥♥♥. Игра вышла достаточно давно, но это висит прямо в самом меню. И таких ебучих ляпов там еще полно, просто я их не буду выписывать ибо ♥♥♥♥♥ мне это надо. Вывод: Любая другая игра будет в разы лучше этой, даже 2d игра. Если вы новичок и хотите поиграть в эту игру, то не надо оно вам, да и на комплектующие свои обязательно смотрите. Рекомендуемые требования, что тут написаны, полная ♥♥♥♥♥, на них можете просто не смотреть, про минимальные требования я вообще молчу. Берегите деньги и не тратьте их на убогое дерьмо

I've had a lot of fun with this game with over 2k hours in it, so this kinda stings to write. The way this game is updated/maintained is garbage. Every update breaks something. The latest Gen1 update was so jank it barely functioned. I play single player, but I've heard the servers aren't even accessible for online play. Gen1 was a lazy release where the studio seemed to focus more on the paid DLC than the actual map, which seems to be the direction they are heading nowadays. Want proof? Look no further than under the ocean where the floor is just a lazily placed world border. There have been many instances where I've lost weeks of work due to the game crashing after an update and me having to reload a previous backup. At this point, I can't in good faith recommend this game as the studio seems set on pushing new paid DLC rather than fixing the broken mess that is this game.

My review is negative because of the performance and the disk space mainly. I absolutely love the game since I play singleplayer by myself with mods, I'm also quite tolerant when it comes to playing at below 60fps so for me it isn't that horrible. What IS horrible though, is the fact that I have a 5070 ti and ryzen 7 9700X and I can't even get 60fps with dlss balanced and their medium preset in settings (I play 1440p), that in itself is mind boggling since I know not everyone has system as powerful as mine. Then there's also the fact that just by turning down the settings like that, your basically negating one of the reason to switch from ASE to ASA which is the visuals. The disk space needed is also horrible as it always has been with ark, just today I needed to update the game and it's taking hours because it's installing 230gb or at least going through that many files.

Don't buy. The game developer, game engine, game design, and game programming will screw you over, and over, and over. And you will just have to take it. - Really, buying this game isn't likely to be a good decision. Play some other game. Any other. - Admittedly, it's a great concept, and some of it is acceptable. - BUT, The majority is generally, barely able to pass muster. Bad UE5 execution/game development/developer/evil publisher/server design/monetization. - If you do choose to buy the title, remember well that this is rerelease. The pricing models are nostalgia exploitation. Avoid paying full price.

This is just hot ass, 5gb update, 2hr wait, happens every day, impossable to play sometimes and just the most unoptomized piece of ♥♥♥♥ i have ever seen.
