Reskin of original ark. Every update takes more than 2 hours as if reinstalling the entire game. Adds more broken content instead of fixing current game. Pay 2 win dinos.

I hate it but sadly there is nothing else that comes close except maybe palworld. Wildcare do not care they only care about money. DLC DLC DLC -what is optimization or bug fixes? They don't know. Stay away as long as you can and never ever buy for full price, never! And don't get me started with their 'mods' that are either broken or useless or stuff that should be naturally in the game. Worse even, to use content form DLC's you (seemingly - heck if anyone understands that without a wiki) have to download the map (those are huge in GB) to use content from those - dinos included afaik. The only good thing about the game is the graphics and that it allows you to tune and config your single player game. Multiplayer so far has been bots, cheaters or simply non working OR 'private' servers that demand 10+ mods to even enter. Updates? Sure, just re-download the full ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game 200gb+ / rip any nvme. If you still think about buyinig an playing it? Get an external SSD only for Ark. Plus, you seriously cannot play this game without a wiki - because heck, why should you get told anything? Like, how some dino's have different ways of taming except KO'ing them and feeding them? No, some are so complext that it is virtually impossible to figure out without a wiki. Yeah, i hate this game. Will i keep playing? Propably. Why? Because i hope that one day, something better comes around. So far, get palworld if you simply want a monster tamer survival game. Just get palworld. Unless you're an edgy person that cries about anime astethics.
