Arcana Sands of Destiny

Great masterpiece of a game! Great story, and I like how there is light combat as well as puzzles, and h/o. However, it does run a bit slow at times.

The game is barely positive. Interesting story and puzzles. You can't get out of a puzzle until you pass it. It is not very obvious what you have to do or place. It's hard to see. Some of the puzzles are annoying. The action is quite slow in every respect. The ending is not interesting. Bonus levels are terribly boring. They could have drawn the heroine a little better, you don't know if she is a girl or a boy. Brief with the guide and achievements. For 2020, it looks quite old. Preferably with a big discount.

This game has some serious performance issues. Video and audio stutters in cut scenes and at that time the CPU load spikes to almost 100%. When the start screen is displayed (i.e. where you have the menu where you can start the game), my CPU load is constantly about 90+% and GPU load is 30+% (from this game alone!) I have a Ryzen Threadripper 3960X 24 core CPU, RTX 2080Ti GPU and 128 GB RAM. It's fascinating (in lack of a better word) to see a game overload that hardware only by displaying an almost static image. Game refunded.

Great HOPs and mini-games. Plus I love any game Egyptian-based. Music is very good for the game theme. A few of the achievements are missable. The developer(s) is(are) very helpful with how to not miss them, and I bet they would solve any technical issues you might have. i did not have any technical issues. I hope they make another adventure game!

Game stopping bugs, quickly resolved by very helpful Purplecloud ( see update) As result of the bugs I tried the game, 3 times over with a new gameplay. But to no avail. Everytime I was unable to continue and complete the game because of game-stopping bugs. - first time (bug no.2): not all item of an inventory-puzzle was acknowledge, so the puzzle stayed uncompleted and I had to start the game alle over again. -second time (bug no3); the game freezed over, while selecting an collectable. Collectables are essential elements of this hidden object game as it unlocks the ability of power granted to your main character. And yes, also this time , I had to the game start over again!! - third time - bug no.4 (and last time ... I gave up), an halfway completed inventory puzzle freezes and the inventory-item needed to continue the puzzle has disappeared! - 1st bug, is that your ingame dairy does not update after page 8, that is halfway the 1st of the 3 missions you have to complete to finish the main-game. PurpleCloud [the developer ] responds quickly and in within only a few days time, made it possible for me to succesfully continue and finish the game. 10 November 2021 update: - the not updating of the pages of the ingame dairy pages has been solved 11 november 2021 update: - bug no.4 (missing inventory-item) will be fixed by the developer. But it can also be prevented from happening (please read thread in discussion community for more information)

Kicsit olyan fapados érzetű játék és még csak nem is kizárólag a látványvilág miatt. A műfajnak sajátja a logikátlan helyen lévő dolgok és nem túl észszerű megoldások, de a jobbak legalább próbálnak valami hintet adni, hogy mi is itt a feladat és kb mi kell a megoldáshoz. Itt többnyire vagy kitalálod magadtól vagy segítséget kérsz, ahol a következő következő lépést mutatja, és ha szerencséd van, akkor érthetően. Pl. volt egy rész, ahol úgy kellett továbbjutni, hogy kinyitsz egy rejtekajtót. A játék segítségként bekarikázta azt a helyet, ahol majd a nyíl lesz, ha kinyitod a rejtekajtó zárját, de az azonos képernyőn lévő nyitómechanizmusra nem hívta fel a figyelmem, ahogy arra sem, hogy mit kéne csinálni vele. Vannak azért jó pillanatai is, de nem annyi, hogy kárpotolna az amatőrségekért.
