Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Arcadia Cafe is a first-person psychological horror game that transforms the seemingly ordinary experience of working a late shift into an increasingly unsettling encounter with strangers, isolation, and uncertainty. Developed by Judas Brothers and Rassl.me and published by Judas Brothers, the game places players in the role of a college student employed at a roadside cafe in an unnamed Ukrainian city. Instead of relying entirely on monsters, weapons, or elaborate supernatural mythology, it builds much of its fear from situations that could initially pass as everyday life. Customers need to be served, responsibilities have to be completed, and eventually the protagonist must leave work and return home. The disturbing part is never knowing when that normal routine will stop feeling safe. The cafe provides the foundation for both the gameplay and the atmosphere. Customers arrive during the shift, and the player is expected to interact with them and handle their requests appropriately. These activities introduce a light simulation component, although Arcadia Cafe is not primarily a restaurant-management game. The work exists to establish repetition and familiarity. Once players become accustomed to performing ordinary tasks, anything unusual becomes much easier to notice. A strange customer, an unexpected interaction, or an uncomfortable change in the surroundings can suddenly carry much greater significance because it interrupts a routine that previously seemed predictable. One particularly effective idea is that interactions with customers can potentially have consequences outside the cafe. This gives conversations and encounters a degree of psychological weight. The person standing on the other side of the counter might simply be another customer, but the possibility that an encounter could develop into something more dangerous encourages constant suspicion. It is an effective way of creating tension without requiring continuous action. Even when nothing obviously threatening is happening, the player has reason to pay attention to behavior, surroundings, and subtle changes in tone. The game describes its approach as domestic horror, and that label captures its strongest qualities. Arcadia Cafe draws fear from recognizable vulnerabilities such as working alone at night, dealing with unpredictable strangers, traveling through dark environments, and wondering whether someone encountered earlier might reappear. These circumstances make the horror more personal because they require very little fantasy to become frightening. The player is not an armed hero deliberately entering a haunted fortress. The protagonist is a student trying to finish a job and get through the night, making the sense of vulnerability easier to understand. Its setting further separates Arcadia Cafe from more generic examples of first-person indie horror. The environments take inspiration from Ukrainian culture during the early 2000s, providing the game with a specific cultural and historical atmosphere. Buildings, interiors, everyday objects, technology, and environmental details contribute to a world designed to evoke that period. This is important because the setting becomes part of the storytelling rather than functioning merely as decoration. There is an interesting relationship between nostalgia and horror here: places and objects associated with ordinary life are presented through a threatening context, gradually turning familiarity into discomfort. The VHS-inspired presentation strengthens that effect. Visual noise, interlacing, jitter, and other analog-video characteristics make the experience resemble imperfect footage recovered from an earlier era. While retro VHS filters are common within independent horror, they are particularly appropriate for Arcadia Cafe because the early-2000s setting already encourages a sense of looking into the past. The imperfect image can also make dark environments harder to interpret, allowing shadows and distant objects to become more suspicious. Players who prefer extremely clean visuals may find the presentation distracting, but its roughness supports the atmosphere the developers are trying to establish. Arcadia Cafe's pacing is deliberately restrained. Rather than overwhelming players with constant scares, it gives mundane activities enough space to establish a believable rhythm. This can make the eventual disturbances more effective because they contrast with ordinary workplace behavior. Sound design and environmental details are especially important in this kind of horror. When players spend extended periods expecting something unpleasant to happen, a small sound or unexpected movement can create tension without requiring an elaborate scripted sequence. Much of the fear therefore comes from anticipation rather than direct danger. That approach also defines the game's main limitations. Anyone looking for extensive combat, complicated puzzles, deep restaurant-management systems, or nonstop supernatural encounters may find Arcadia Cafe comparatively simple. Its workplace mechanics primarily support the narrative and atmosphere rather than attempting to become a detailed business simulator. The slow-burn structure also depends heavily on player patience. Someone who enjoys absorbing environmental details and gradually increasing tension is likely to appreciate the quieter sections, while players who require constant activity may consider the same moments too uneventful. The modest technical requirements reinforce the impression of a focused independent production rather than a showcase for cutting-edge technology. Its visual appeal comes from art direction and presentation instead of graphical complexity. The environments need to feel convincing enough for the horror to work, and the stylized retro appearance helps the game achieve that without demanding photorealism. More importantly, the setting has a recognizable identity, which gives the experience character beyond its technical specifications. What ultimately makes Arcadia Cafe interesting is the way its major elements reinforce one another. The night shift creates isolation, customer service establishes routine, strangers introduce unpredictability, the Ukrainian environment provides cultural personality, and the VHS treatment creates a deliberately uneasy connection with the past. None of these ideas individually reinvent psychological horror, but their combination creates a coherent experience in which ordinary responsibilities become sources of anxiety. Developers Judas Brothers and Rassl.me demonstrate a clear understanding of slow-building first-person horror, while publisher Judas Brothers presents the game as an atmospheric experience rather than a large-scale survival adventure. Arcadia Cafe will appeal most strongly to players who enjoy unsettling everyday scenarios, environmental storytelling, retro aesthetics, and horror based on anticipation. Its limited mechanical complexity and measured pacing will not suit everyone, but those qualities also prevent it from losing sight of its central concept. By making a simple night at work feel increasingly unsafe, the game turns familiarity into its most effective source of fear. Rating: 8/10

for one of those retro horror games it did make me flinch sometimes.. the game follows Alina, a young girl (maybe in her early 20s? idk...) who works at a kind of cornerstore. I liked that the npcs had their own distinct personalities (like the old lady who kept calling me a slut). That being said, it covered what it feels like walking home alone at night (as a woman), having people follow you home and being betrayed by people you think you can trust. The second nightmare sequence was super eerie and totally scary !! ヽ(≧□≦)ノ The unsettling music and lights switching off really added to it. Loved it sm !! Would recommend kind of spoiler?:
Anyway, the only thing I didn't get was the guy with the cat shirt running around.. idk what his deal was
