Aquapark Tycoon

Wenn Aufbau Strategie und Wirtschaftssimulationen zu deinem Haupt Genre gehören, ist dieses Spiel leider zu dünn. Hatte in einer früheren Demo schon mal reingeschaut. Dachte mir das wird wahrscheinlich nichts für mich. Nun im early access gekauft, da die Spielidee gut ist. - Bausteuerung, na ja - Kamera Zoon, na ja - Objekte Vielfalt, na ja - Objekt Beschreibung, nicht komplett vorhanden - Spielkarten lieblos dargestellt Habe mich dann durchgequält, um wenigstens mal eröffnen zu können. Im freien Spiel, im Gebäude, Umkleiden und Schließfächer gesetzt. Was braucht man dann? Richtig. Zwischen Umkleide und Bad, kommen ja noch WC anlagen und die Duschen. Also angefangen an sie Bestehende Außenwand einen Raum zu platzieren für die Duschen. Dann wollte ich eine Tür setzen. Die lässt sich nur in der Bestehenden Außenmauer platzieren. Selbst gebaute Wände sind für Türen gesperrt ??? Dann habe ich noch Lustlos einen Pool hingeklatscht um noch wenigstens zu sehen wie die Gäste und ihr Verhalten Animiert sind. Danach habe ich eine Rückerstattung beantragt. Idee ist super, Umsetzung leider nicht. Schade

Very fun and great spin on games like Rollercoaster Tycoon and Parkitect. Building the slides is great and intuitive and it´s easy to learn to create different styles of pools and saunas. Especially making different indoor and outdoor areas and how they interact with the seasons is a great touch! In the building department there are some small things missing like being able to build ´benches´ in the pools like you can with the saunas or finetuning angles of your pools. But already very fleshed out for an early access version! There are a bit more things missing in the management department which would be nice to have in the future like maximum allowed guests in a pool, age restrictions in pools or areas, special pool times, staff amendities and actually managing the whole technical side of the filtration systems. The last one I don´t expect to be added but it would add a whole new layer of management if you would need to lay pipes for warming and cooling pools and filtering them based on the amount of guests. Gives you a bit more to manage after your done building and fluffing your pool with decorations.

I really enjoy park building games, starting with Roller Coaster Tycoon in my youth. I feel like this game really captures a lot of the fun quirkiness that I loved with that same title without the complexities of building that comes with a lot of other titles in the genre. There's still some bugs they need to work out and the scenarios are also a work in progress. I waited to write this review as well until after I played with my spouse and we both enjoyed ourselves, especially playing together. I had played alone for a little while during the day and then we played together later on. My spouse picked up on the game pretty quickly, and I appreciate a lot of the controls. Even from the preview I really appreciated the user interface (UI) specifically for the water slides. The circle aspect felt very natural and made building really pleasant, which I honestly struggle with a lot in many games because it becomes a bit too complex. Like, I sometimes I just want to put a darn attraction down without having to understand 3D modeling!! I appreciate that the feature to change the physical locations of objects is available, but it also has a very easy to use snapping feature. I'll be playing this game quite a bit more moving forward, and I love that the devs decided to release it with Multiplayer as an option from the start. My only suggestion to the team is to push more on your advertising in the future. This game is fantastic and I'm super glad my spouse and I enjoy perusing new titles for hidden gems. TLDR: The game is fun at it's current stage, but it certainly has some room for improvement. I think that the foundation is good and the UI is very easy to understand. I recommend it, but if you are expecting a fully polished game then hold off on buying it until the full release. Otherwise, it's a sweet little gem I would highly recommend.

I'm gonna give the game negative review just to get devs attention. Sorry. First, please add 21:9 support. HUD seems to be fine but the gameplay is stretched. Not that big of a deal but for me it sucks. I'm playing windowed now, It's fine. Secondly, add CTRL+Z.

Insbesondere für ältere Spieler ist dieser Titel, wie sehr viele andere, einfach nicht mehr spielbar. Selbst bei einer Auflösung von 1080P werden die ganzen Tooltips mal wieder in einer winzigen Auflösung mit hellgrau auf einem blenden hellen Hintergrund gerotzt und kein normaler Mensch der nicht mehr über die Sehkraft eines Adlers verfügt darf sich im Blindflug durch das Spiel quälen. Sämtliche Ui´s lassen sich nicht einstellen, wer darkmode gewöhnt ist erkennt rein überhaupt nichts mehr und sämtliche Hintergrundfarben lassen sich nicht einstellen damit man wenigstens etwas lesen kann. Sämtliche Entwickler gehören mal anständig durch die Mangel gedreht damit ihnen klar wird dass nicht alle Spieler diesen Rotz trotz Brille einfach nicht mehr entziffern können und dadurch faktisch aus der Spielegemeinschaft ausgeschlossen werden.

Very impressed with this game! More polished than most early access games and it already has a large variety of things to build with a lot of customization. Controls take a minute to get use to but I now find it a very fluid and smooth experience. Excited to see what comes in future updates.
