Apolune 2

I came across this game first on the Atari VCS, and with a Steamdeck now i also purchased it on Steam. I find this game most enjoyable as a "wind down" type game, though it can get hectic as time goes on, but for the most part, it's easy to put on some tunes and get lost in the mining and fighting. The game is simple, you're a deep space miner, you mine for resources to sell to buy upgrades to you and your station. The game as single player is tougher as it's meant to be, i mean really you're a single guy dragging around a space station, it's not going to be easy, the cream is it's multi player, where it's fun to work together, have one person repairing the station while another fights, trying to double up resources, and it's much easier to move the station with more than one person. The gave injects humor into the in game comments as well as all craziness can happen the longer the game goes on. If easy pick up and play gameplay, pixel art, good multi player, and just a more chill and relax atmosphere game is up your alley then I would really recommend Apolune 2. Between Steam and VCS i have well over 4 hours of game play experience.

How do I describe this game? Fun, addictive, and a great way to pass time without even knowing time is flying by! I'm usually not one for pixelated games. I'm 41, work a lot, and if I play games, it is to decompress for a bit. So, it better hold my attention. With that said, I spoke to the developer the other day. He recommended Apolune 2 and I, of course, took his word. I WAS ABSOLUTELY not let down. I spent an hour and a half on here without realizing it. Repairing my ship, killing creatures, collecting resources to upgrade my person and said ship. I hope this review helps out anyone looking for a good "builder" type game and needing to have a bit of spark...fun..in your life for a bit, because this game really surprised me. Great job and I hope to see more from Lost Astronauts. Get it now if you haven't.
