Apollo 11 VR HD

Was very impressed and full of awe watching Apollo 11 in Cinema mode. I was 13 years old when I watched the moon landing on black and white TV so maybe this game means more to me because of my age, but I think this will be an outstanding experience for any age. I can't wait to show it to my Grand daughters. This is a remarkable experience for the $10.00 price I paid for Apollo 11. I give this game / experience highest praise and strongly recommend buying this title.

The programme isn't bad, but so glitchy - excuse me. SteamVR hangs up intentionally after each chapter, every time needed to reconnect the headset to PC. NASA should be ashamed to put their logo on this. If you made rockets like that, they'd explode every time you launched them. By the way... I don't intend to keep such a glitch. And at such a price. No matter how long I've been waiting for it, there were no discounts on it at any sale. Well, keep it then. Refund.

The most valuable and historic experience you can get in VR. I've gone thru this whole journey more than several times. The sunrise at the earth orbit, and sunrise from the lunar orbit is the really spectacular, breathtaking scene.. i trembled with tears in my eyes. Background musics are also perfectly selected for each situation. Tip: If you have a trouble in tracking in Quest 2 or 3, right click on this app and set "start with Oculus mode" instead of "steam mode". This will solve the issue.

Actually... this is still quite an experience in 2025 with a set of Meta Quest 3S. I think it's worth the price just to get this experience for anybody who has any interest in the old Apollo-programme at all. Sure, it's not a full blown simulation with all instruments working, but the immersion is real and close enough to simulate how it felt for the astronauts. Call it an 3D documentary, with benefits, and it's still worth it... thumps up from me!
