Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A
real mixed bag in every
sense for me. I have a deep love for cyberpunk and ANNO came with a very rich and and somewhat novel
world that did a lot of heavy
lifting for me. The problem for me was what they
did in that world.
The story is
good
but is massively
knee capped
by its desperation to hide it from you even in the
final
moments it makes it next to imposable to enjoy
(Note to the writers people don't redact their own private notes on their computers that's not what redactions are for)
key characters
appear
in the story and then disappear
never to be seen or heard from again
making the whole thing feel very rushed which for a 10-12 hour games isn't great. The combat is good enough that it never outstays its welcome but the platforming is very sub par and unresponsive which makes the final parts that rely on it frustrating. As others have said this would be a neutral rating from me but there isn't one so negative for balance.

5/10 Style over substance made flesh, the best thing about this game being the aesthetic and art-style. Game play being a distant second, exploration being tedious and the combat unsatisfying. And the writing isn't great and seems to be a lot of translation errors or just poor voice acting.

The game tries to do way too many different things and doesn't do any of them particularly well. It's not terrible, but it's completely unremarkable.
How to Describe Anno: Mutationem? Well, other than confusing people of the Town-building Supply Chain mamagement series that also uses the title of 'Anno', Mutationem is a very different beast from that series. To begin with, and most obviously, it's a combination of cyberpunk and supernatural events in a 2.5D world, with side-scrolling melee and gun combat. The pixel-style art for the characters, while not unique, is well-done, giving each named character a unique silhouette and style. You will meet a few dozen characters throughout the game, however, and while the game does have a database listing each named character you meet, for the most part, you'll simply forget about the vast majority of the characters due to how limited their interactions are with you as you play. The Music, while not memorable, fills a rather neat niche for the game, ranging through the various subgenres of what people might deem 'cyberpunk' music overall. There's a few instances of music that stands out, but I am hard pressed to remember any track titles. The gameplay is a fairly simple, but satisfying loop; go to an area, loot everything you can find, talk to everyone around you to suss out hints of plot, and be directed to the side-scrolling areas wher you promptly beat various thugs, mutants, goons, and robots into their component parts using a holographic sword, non-holographic gun, or, later on, a bigger sword, or even two swords at once. Now, a critique about the game is that unless you are using a controller plugged into your computer, there's not only the possibility of input lag (Turning off vSync helps but does not totally alleviate this), but just as frustratingly, whenever you're given control, you have to re-input any inputs you were doing before losing control of your character in a cutscene; For example, if you were holding left to run away from something and a cutscene pauses the chase, you'll have to re-apply the directional input. A small thing, but just bothersome enough to make note of; some people would be reasonably annoyed by that. I cannot talk about the story without risk of spoiling things, but it's very clear that the Developers took inspiration from the Online SCP wiki, a Community-created database of various supernatural gribbly things ranging from harmless to incredibly dangerous. Overall, the game's an easy 8/10, as despite some small frustrations via control re-input and a very awkward keyboard control scheme (Seriously, plug a controller into your PC), it's well-made, adventerous, and charming.
I absolutely do NOT recommend “ANNO: Mutationem”. On first glance, the game has a very enticing visual style, and it does indeed to deliver on that aspect. Visual presentation is good, as seen in the details put into each environment and enemy, but it won’t make the game enjoyable solely by itself. So what part is bad? The worst is definitely the story, which is a complete mess. The happenings have zero buildup and I just really didn’t care because of it; nothing has weight, they just happen. The level designs are also pretty questionable. One major blight is (SPOILERS) that the writers implemented fantasy/ supernatural aspects into the story that also have no buildup, especially in a “Cyberpunk” game. Speaking of cyberpunk, the most cyberpunk thing in the game is the environment. Following up on that, there is just less content available in the main game than expected (excluding the DLCs). One city would have around 5 side quests, with about half of them not having a narrative other than “go somewhere to beat up NPCs because of x reasons”. The combat is mediocre. It doesn’t do anything and is fairly generic, using an upgradable skill tree system as the source of your abilities, >50% of which you can’t even use practically due to how the enemies, especially the bosses, carry out their attacks. It’s near impossible to carry out combos with the greatsword as the enemies just attack too fast to do so. Enemies recover immediately after getting “insta-killed”, making it work against using slow combos with extra inputs. The combat in general just feels kinda janky and unresponsive, with nothing setting it apart. As it is originally a Chinese game, there are countless localisation/ translation errors. The subtitles often don’t match what is being said by the characters. Some sentences don’t make any grammatical sense. Regarding the audio, the soundtrack is fine, but nothing to jump out of the seat for. The story is partly voiced, with the Ava’s doing a pretty decent job. Overall, immersive. The most fun I had in the game was exploring the areas and looting boxes, which shouldn’t be the case in an action game. All in all, if you like good visual design over anything else and like looting boxes, you could buy this game at your own risk. But don’t expect anything groundbreaking would be the biggest takeaway. I’d give this game 5.5/10, in respect of the effort the designers/ artists put in the visual design and presentation of the game.
