Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 119.2/day in the week to Jul 16 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ANIMALITY, developed by ColloseusX and published by Phat Phrog Studios, is a fast-paced, skill-driven endless runner that embraces simplicity while delivering a surprisingly intense reflex challenge. Released on Steam in early 2017, the game positions itself as an accessible yet competitive arcade-style experience built around pixel-art animals sprinting through increasingly dangerous environments. While it does not aim for narrative depth or complex mechanics, ANIMALITY thrives on immediacy, responsiveness, and the addictive pursuit of higher scores. At its core, the game follows the classic endless runner formula. Players select an animal character and dash forward across a side-scrolling landscape filled with hazards. The objective is straightforward: survive as long as possible while avoiding enemies such as dragons and demonic creatures and collecting life gems that extend your run. The simplicity of this design makes the game easy to understand within seconds, but the escalating speed and obstacle density quickly transform it into a demanding test of reaction time and concentration. What begins as a lighthearted sprint soon becomes a frantic exercise in split-second decision-making. The challenge curve is one of ANIMALITY’s defining strengths. The pace steadily intensifies, forcing players to adapt to quicker enemy patterns and tighter movement windows. There is little room for error once momentum builds, and each run becomes a balance between calculated movement and instinctive reactions. This structure taps directly into the “just one more try” mentality that defines many successful arcade experiences. Failure feels immediate but rarely unfair, encouraging players to restart instantly in pursuit of a longer survival streak. A significant highlight of ANIMALITY is its local multiplayer support. The game allows shared or split-screen co-op, enabling two players to run simultaneously on the same system. This transforms what might otherwise be a solitary high-score chase into a social and often chaotic experience. Coordinating movement, reacting to threats together, or even competing for survival time adds layers of tension and humor. The cooperative component enhances replay value considerably, as runs become unpredictable when multiple players must respond to escalating hazards in tandem. Visually, ANIMALITY adopts a colorful pixel-art style that fits perfectly with its arcade sensibilities. The animals themselves are charmingly simple yet expressive, giving each selectable character a playful identity. Backgrounds and environmental details are functional rather than elaborate, ensuring that visual clarity remains intact even at high speeds. The minimalist aesthetic works in the game’s favor, keeping attention focused on gameplay rather than visual distraction. Combined with lively animations, the presentation evokes a nostalgic retro feel while remaining clean and readable. Progression within the game revolves around earning in-game currency during runs. This “running cash” can be used to unlock additional animal characters, expanding the roster beyond the initial selection. While the animals primarily differ in appearance rather than fundamentally altering mechanics, the act of unlocking new characters provides a tangible sense of reward and progression. Additional downloadable content offers cosmetic expansions and extra animal options for those who want more variety, though the base game contains enough content to sustain its core loop. The inclusion of Steam leaderboards reinforces the competitive aspect of ANIMALITY. Players can compare survival times and scores globally, adding external motivation to improve performance. This competitive layer complements the fast restart cycle, as shaving seconds off a run or climbing a few ranks becomes a meaningful achievement. The game also features an extensive achievement list, giving completionists another incentive to continue refining their skills and experimenting with different characters. Despite its strengths, ANIMALITY’s simplicity can also limit its long-term depth. The core mechanics do not evolve significantly over extended play sessions, and the structure remains centered on the same survival objective. For players seeking narrative progression, mechanical complexity, or varied game modes, the experience may feel repetitive after prolonged engagement. However, when approached as a quick-session arcade title designed for bursts of energetic play, its streamlined design becomes an advantage rather than a drawback. Ultimately, ANIMALITY succeeds by delivering exactly what it promises: a fast, reflex-based runner with charming pixel aesthetics and a strong emphasis on local multiplayer fun. Its escalating intensity, competitive leaderboards, and unlockable roster create a satisfying loop that rewards both casual players and dedicated score chasers. While modest in scope, the game captures the essence of arcade-style design—easy to start, difficult to master, and always tempting you to press restart for one more run. Rating: 7/10

¡NO!.
