Really solid boomer shooter. Fun exploration. All weapons have their uses. Good boss fights. Good amount of gameplay with a fairly wide variety of enemies and settings. More Heretic vibes than Doom given the weapons are all magic and enemies aren't demons.

The game that I was most looking forward to playing when I finally got a pc. It really helped me ease into the controls of mouse and keyboard after playing on consoles all my life. Alongside this, the game delivers on every front. The level design is intricate and fun to travers/explore. The weapons are incredibly satisfying, with great audio/visual feedback and all serve a purpose throughout the game. The environments are stunning with imposing strongholds and temples bathed in some of the best lighting I've seen in a game. The whole world evokes a type of old school fantasy that you just don't see that much nowadays. The music by Andrew Hulshult is amazing; especially the tracks in episode 1 and 6. Ranging from epic and cinematic, to calming and ethereal. My only real complaint is that each epsiode isn't all that long, but this also means they are very replayable.
по началу меня игра немножко разочаровала я не то что большой любитель hexen/heretic но чуть трогал их и от этой ждал немного другого но игра не плоха моменты с тем вроде ракетницы стреляющей разными планетами мне понравились
Quality boomer shooter. It was clear that the developers felt passionate about this game. I think that the only issue I had was that the enemies (while looking different), never really challenged you in a different way except for in the last few levels and the DLC. However, the game is still very fun to play.
