Trying to dodge in this game is ridiculously hard, like I’m so focused on not getting hit that I forget what I’m even doing, and it takes ages to even realize you’re dealing damage
I always loved retro-style games. If you played and loved the classic Heretic and Hexen games, you'll definitely love Amid Evil. Graphics and sound are great. The level design is absolutely mind blowing. The gameplay is very simple: left click to attack, right click to power up. The game can be really challenging (sometimes frustrating) even on easy mode. Good thing the gaming gods blessed us with cheat codes (yes, it's listed in the game's codex). Bottom line, this game is highly recommended for those who loved 90's shooters. Of course, those who never played old shooters should also give it a try.
