Retro hratelnost ano, ale vůbec ne taková, jakou jsem očekával. Více než cokoliv jiného Amid Evil připomíná staré akční plošinovky - velmi jednoduchá hratelnost, různé power upy, spousta skákání po plošinkách a manévrování po úzkých římsách a nepřátelé, jejichž umělá inteligence funguje na principu "vidím hráče -> běžím zabít hráče". Levely jsou přímočaré, komplexní level design ustupuje rychlosti a plynulosti zážitku (pád z výšky nezraňuje, ve vodě se postava netopí). Spíše než na Heretic a Hexen jsem si při hraní vzpomněl na Hocus Pocus.
This game is absolutely amazingly epic as ♥♥♥♥, and one hell of a dopamine rush. just play it. And don't skip the black labyrinth DLC, it's arguably better than the main game
目前玩过的场景美术最喜欢，建模法线贴图最精美，色彩艳丽的复古射击游戏。高饱和度和高反射反而显得质感更好了太喜欢了。武器打击感厚实，难度简单，怪物多样，杀怪爽快，关卡道路十分宽阔，搭配宏大而又秀丽的建筑，体验很阳间很舒适，不愧是newblood三合一包里的一员，不过和大家同感，字体设计成古文字样式看起来有些变扭 the fortress那章太神人了，全是跳跳乐和各种机关，以及很阴间的空中橙色电锯球和绿刺球真的阴，体验挺差，扣分！ 最后一关直面evil在地图设计上确实视觉冲击力非常强，到处都是乱序而又能成路黑色银纹黑砖配上紫到发黑的宇宙般的背景，面对各种虚空般的怪物，确实有邪神大本营的震撼感，但是m3的最后部分的黑蛇有点太逆天了,当初当关底boss战就够恶心了，另外最终邪神开始逼格很高，最后发现直接站桩蓝色火炬旁用蓝法杖无限火力就能秒了哈哈
