Sad because the Reaрer that was used in the trailer оnly? in DLC which is sad tо see because ive already gоt the game. Refunding and buying it again is fine but..... Оnly fоr 1 weaроn? that effect lооks SICK!!!(/≧▽≦)/. Bring reaрer in main game and i will be haррy! (~ ̄▽ ̄)~ Game is unique style but trailer scammed me. Sо nо like оn this review `(*>﹏<*)′
just an absolute romp the whole way through -- to the point that i don't even think you should finish it in one sitting. every environment is stunning, each replete with its own rich atmosphere and the colors and detail of absolutely everything just POPS. every weapon is addictive and none ever feel like they lose their function... though the star of pain's animation-cancel bug makes it a workhorse like any other chunky FPS shotgun; just mess around with it and you'll figure out what i'm talking about. one world a day. two at the most. if you somehow regret it, know that you will regret it much less than ripping through the whole thing in a day

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

An excellent boomer shooter with really unique weapons and great art direction. Really makes you feel like a pretty cool wizard. Campaign is nice and short with really well designed levels, and can even get pretty difficult at times. If you like literally anything by NBI, you'll like this.
a midevil?
One of the best boomer shooters of this generation, with unique weapons, incredible aesthetics, and a wide variety of levels and enemies. This comes with the caveat that the Forge world sucks and is genuinely unfun. Besides that the game is slightly too easy, but it still a great time.
Game's story is amazing. New Blood games lowkey be hitting hard when it comes to fast paced shooters. Just a few errors here and there but nothing game breaking. Controls are really simple. Overall Rating: 8.5/10
Good game but the art style is off-putting
One of my favourite boomer shooters out there. What I really like about this game, despite the very very cool graphic style, level designs and weapons, is especially the enemies. The enemies don't only look very cool, but there are multiple different enemies in each new area, no repetitions, and the way you have to engage these different enemies in combat differs immensely for each one of them because of their unique movesets, making the gameplay never feel boring on the first playthrough. The only thing I noticed that really could have been done differently in my opinion are the bosses, since they are all quite easy even on hardest difficulty. They do look very cool and bring a nice atmosphere with them, but they really could be more challenging. This game has a lot of unique ideas, isn't too long or too short and constantly fun throughout the playthrough. highly recommended, especially for the very unique dark style of this game. 9,5/10
fun wizard game
Grew up on Doom II, Duke 3D, Hexen, Serious Sam...loved and still love those games. This game has been hyped up to the heavens, had it on my wishlist for years, decided to pull the trigger. Right from the start, the difficulty select is a large, empty desert hallway segment. Retina-burning color saturation. Slippery movement. Little baby jump mechanic combined with every single gap being sized so you have to do it perfectly. Hi-def weapon models and textures juxtaposed with Doom 64-esque enemy models and terrain. Tutorial engravings on the walls show up in big letters in the center of the screen with no pause. 2 melee weapons, then the first ranged weapon you get fires homing shots so you can just blast without aiming and kill everything without ever having to worry about ammo. Huge, empty levels. No automap. Turok-style fog effects. Feels like playing an N64 game on an emulator. Gave it half an hour, don't feel like I'll ever want to go back to it. Does NOT live up to the monumental hype.
