Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile

I really enjoyed the plot and characters and smooth gameplay and beautiful scenery. I enjoyed the character of Jane, but I wasn't invested in the Spider subplot. The scenes when you needed to confirm the elements of the crime I found it to be not very user friendly. Still a great game for fans of the series.

Ich kann mich nur anderen Rezensionen anschließen. Das Spiel ist hübsch - sehr hübsch sogar. Aber das game design ist grauenhaft. Absolut kein Knobelspiel sondern stumpfes Äpfel mit Äpfeln vergleichen und die Lösung des Rätsels bereits erraten haben wenn es gerade erst angefangen hat. Der Gag mit dem goldenen Schnurrbart war auch spätestens nach dem dritten Fund nicht mehr lustig.

If you played Murder on the Orient Express then this game follows the same recepie but with more beautiful views, more places to explore and an ancient Egyptian mystery on the side. I love both games therefore I recommend them wholeheartedly. Edit: After I posted my review I skimmed other's reviews and read a lot of negative reviews. I can't sympathise. This is a mystery game but is primarly a puzzle game. The puzzles are also not that hard but I am also speaking from the perspective of someone who plays mostly puzzle and deduction games. The mysteries DO NOT have multiple possible endings nor plot holes. I feel like some simply skimmed the dialougues in search for a skip button or did not understand how the reenacments work. However! I must warn that at times the soundrack does glitch, but it's only for a second or 2. I think this mught have to do with each's computer performance, I'm not sure. The other warning is for the ones suffering from motion sickness, I've also experienced it since I'm also sensible to that aspect. There are some parts of the game that might prove to be difficult to navigate for some players due to some scenes having maze like environments. P.S: ususally you can't skip important content in any game, especially story driven games (because what's the purpose of playing a STORY DRIVEN GAME if you're not listening to the story?). And if you need to memorize something and you're like me and don't have a great memory the steam overlay has a NOTE function. You'll find it at the bottom of the overlay. I've found it helpful for many games. As observations for the devs: I consider the placement of the collectables to be better in this game. The minigames are fun but some are too repetitive (like lockpicking doors) and some do take a lot of time (the temple). The worst decision ever from my point of view was that in the Nile hotel after you repair the jukebox it keeps playing the music and the lady keeps dancing. That was the most annoying part for me.

Very fun! Of course I had to use online walkthroughs to survive because...I'm stupid.
