Against the Storm

A very well made rogue-like (or lite) city builder. The first few hours were a little hard to get into and understand the mechanics - you should look up some tips for beginners on reddit - but since then I'm having a blast and I still have a lot to learn!

I love how the maps aren't too big or complicated great game to get a satisfying experience out of when you just want to sit down and play a bit after work as sinlge map won't take you too long. It respects your time while still offering a decent amount of fun and depth.

『3年前のゲームだしなぁ』と思うなかれ、最近までアップデートされておりバグがしっかり潰されているのでむしろやるなら今だろう。 シミュレーションゲームって、何度も繰り返し遊びたいと思いつつも『序盤の展開は結局一緒だし、面白くなるまでのその序盤が毎回長い』というジレンマがあるが、本作にはそれが無い。 もっとDLC出して欲しかったと思うが、恐らくこれ以上ごちゃごちゃさせるとバランスが取れなくなるのでしょう。

Like many reviews said, this is a game about the first few hours of your city builder games, but the game loop is so well done that it hardly feel boring or repetitive. There's one easy mode (Settler), and other difficulty modes are all harder, so I can totally imagine someone sinking hundreds of hours into this game. Got this game during their extended sale after the Summer Sale (super grateful to the team for that, I totally could have missed this), so it's super worth the price. Highly recommended.

Très bon jeu de gestion mixant RTS et rogue-like, très exigeant et punitif, pour les amateurs de challenge. La DA est très bonne. C'est oui.

Great strategic city builder with a steadily progressing difficulty. The fantasy setting makes it cozy and exciting at the same time.

街づくりの序盤をずっと繰り返すようなゲームです。 街が軌道に乗り始めると面倒に感じてしまうタイプなので、強制リセットされるこのゲームはかなり楽しめました。
