Against the Storm

i reckon i had fun

I love 4X games, except for the military units and conquering people. This game is perfect for me. You are fighting the elements, not other factions.

As someone who usually avoids city builders, this one has me hooked. The rougelite nature of the game makes each settlement self-contained and has replayability baked in. My only gripe is that some systems are not particularly well explained but, once you have them figured out, the game suddenly becomes much better. (I ignored trade early on, while also underestimated the value of keeping villagers happy.)

Really nice gameplay loop, can keep you going for hundreds of hours. The game is fun, just dont think that is a chill city builder, i have made this mistake. The game gets progressively harder and pressure builds up, its not chill. I have ODC and the management of so many resources and tasks makes me go crazy and anxious, thats why i stopped playing it.

chill except when the storm makes you go bald irl, otherwise pretty chill with a great soundtrack and great gameplay depth. im not at that level myself, but even the most useless rolls at the start can lead you to victory if you play right.

Jeu incroyable, peut-être mon city builder préféré, l'ambiance, la DA, etc.. Tout est parfait pour moi ! Aucun lag malgré ma config vieillissante :)
