Good fun - after playing on the free weekend I did enjoy it, but had more fun via the roguelike elements and progression than I did actually playing the matches. Not bad though, just not amazing for me (not my favourite genre). Although it was addictive...

I haven't played in a long time, but a recent update to the still year long hiatus I've had reminded me of its existence. There are plenty of reviews telling you why to play this game, but I'm placing this review to hopefully get something I want more than anything else-
A reason to come back.
A new species and half a dozen modifiers isn't enough, not enough to go through the seals and queen trials again. I can't say I know what it is EXACTLY I would be looking for, but I hope for it all the same. Give this game a chance and hours will disappear, I promise.
Absolutely fantastic game, I've been so addicted to it! It's the perfect amount of challenging and scales well. I love all the mechanics and features of the game. The style is very cute, the music is so great. Just such a quality game, they did such a good job. There are never issues, it's very smooth and very clear. I highly recommend!!

It has a lot of charm, replayability and roguelite city builder is pretty unique concept to boot.

Super chill vibe. It gently guides you through so you never feel overwhelmed, and the learning curve is smooth as silk. The music and sound design are top-tier, and the UI is a absolute dream.
You can pop in for a quick session or completely lose track of time. Absolute perfection for seasoned gamers like me who just love kicking back and making strategic calls.
