Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great blend of roguelite and fighting game, with simple story and captivating gaming process. So you have 3 main characters/classes with their own moveset, with special action they can consume a soul of a regular enemy or miniboss (or one of the main bosses, but the condition is - your level must be equal or higher of the target to not just deal damage but to consume it) - and now you can switch between 2 of them. Each enemy has its own moveset, there are multiple different critical effects (like freeze, poison, curse (which slows movement dramatically), fire, charm). I liked the nimbleness of controls (they are really responsive< just need to adapt), and while Im very bad at fighting games (my last one was SF4, even before SSF4 and USF4) and cancels overall where hard to me, but there are zoners, trappers (like burning mummy) that work quite well even for me. The visuals/design is very good too, mind you that those guys developed Zeno Clash dilogy. My only concern about the game - its bugs, there are a lot of them, from minors, where keyboard mapping in settings is listed wrong for consumable items, to more critical, like not saving the final boss room, meaning you should never quit the game if you want to fight him the other day just to find yourself at the very start of the run later. But nonetheless I would give this game a shot.

An interesting look into another world, though one that takes a bit to get used to. It experiments with a lot of mechanics, and each of the main characters does end up feeling different enough that I made sure to trek to the bottom with all of them. It's been a long time since I played, but hopefully the community has been able to properly bring the meta-progression to its final phase so that all the indicated content has been unlocked. (I think I'd be a little sad to get to the bottom after all this time and find it in the same spot it was when I last played.)
Clunky controls, terrible game feel overall. The only positive is the art-style.

In a sea of sidescrolling "Lite RPGs"/"Rogue Lites"/Beat'Em'Ups, there's still nothing else quite like Abyss Odyssey (for better and worse). The game has always resonated with me despite it's numerous flaws. The biggest issue is the obnoxious screen tearing (even with V-Sync). The combat is clunky though fairly "readable", artistically and aurally the game shines (voice acting aside). Abyss Odyssey has a unique atmosphere and IMO a compelling central loop. Recommended on a heavy sale.
divertido pero tienes que tener paciencia al jugarlo
Abyss Odyssey is a stylish and ambitious roguelite with fighting‑game DNA. The combat is deep but sometimes clunky, the procedural levels are uneven, and the difficulty can feel random. Still, the unique art style, character variety, and the ability to play as enemies make it stand out. Not perfect, but definitely memorable. Worth trying if you enjoy technical combat and unusual design.
