I remember going through the same stage as Mei, where she felt like she wasn't given enough love and attention by the people who loved her. Appreciation or even realization of the things that are not quite noticeable is somehow underrated. Love is everywhere if we choose to stop and look around once in a while. Love is everywhere, even in cold noodles.

Taste of the Past is a very emotional game. The soundtrack is simple and calm, but it really helps you feel the atmosphere and understand what the game is trying to show. While playing, we go through different moments that make us think about our own lives. It makes us remember people who are no longer here, and also think about the struggles they had that we maybe never understood. The game also talks about grief, learning how to deal with loss, and trying to heal. It doesn’t force anything, it just makes you feel and reflect. The art style is very beautiful and different. You can feel that there is something personal in it, like the creator put their own experiences into the game. In the end, it’s a simple game, but with a strong message that makes you think and feel.
