Did you think you'd win with a snap of your fingers? Did you think you'd see a crew as a number? Did you think you'd gorge without fear of judgements? But, sir, you're not in the Royal Navy. The pirate's life is a life of dreams. And it's precisely because we have a shitty life that we have dreams.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 29 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Well, no. This game is not a "hidden gem" as someon here might say. It COULD be pretty solid ship management sim, IF developers would put a bit more care into this. Two things plague it: metric ton of micromanagement and horrendous interface. It's easy to see that those amplify each other, making gameplay absolutely horrible. The clearest example is assigning sailors to postions. For combat positions it's easy. There is a screen before the combat where you see all your sailors and assign them all roles at once. For non-combat positions - you HAVE to click them one by one. And they often stand behind each others (especially machinist guys - two of them in tiny room). So you have to do... pixel hunting. An yes. You have almost zero need to reassign combat roles and constantly have to reassign non-combat ones. In the end it's absolutely terrible experience I cannot recommend to anyone.
This game is truly charming. It has got style and character and a great atmosphere (it does not struggle to create a feel-good one). You gotta love the music, absolutely enjoyable and this goes for most everything of this game. It also has very good achievements that are desirable but seldomly quick to get. They let you know there is more adventure for you in this game sort of in addition to the already solid watch to watch "routine" of being the quartermaster. Make smart decisions (one of them is not to think "1 portion" ought to be enough when there is no better reason to skimp there other than saving a few coins when that is not crucial) and you can sail a fearsome, capable pirate ship you will mourn to ever lose. This might even entail mourning the loss of your former captain (I admit that happened to me ;-) ). But if you do, work yourself up there again with your new crew and have FUN! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0fAznO1wA8 Make the last question: Are you compelled to try the free demo? You would not regret it, I would think! EDIT: This was written mostly before there was a fix to melee battles which fixed those being too easy in favour of the player's crew. If you are playing with the default typing and are not trained and in the groove for the sea battles it is actually a bit tough and there is no feel-good atmosphere coming your way any time soon likely. So take the stuff above and the recommendation with a pinch of salt.

I tried the demo first and pretty soon bought the whole game. The demo is worth a try!! I like this game. It's so much different what games usually are. I thought that this would be in Caribbean as pirate games usually are but instead this happens in some strange land where some of the people look like oriental and native americans. In addition to sail ships there are also steam powered ships. The normal sailing is relaxing management of duties for sailors and plotting course. It is constant balance of how much you should bring supplies and how much leave empty cargo space for loot. Sometimes everything is running just fine: You got gold and stop by harbor to resupply. I tossed out all the old bad tasting water to get fresh water from harbor well. Just getting ready for another successful run on a merchant. But then the captain, bloody moron, decides he doesn't like the town and wants to leave early. Off we sail with only little bit of drinking water with us. I need to put some alcohol to the drinking water or we're not going to have enough for the whole crew. Now the crew is drunk and we still run out of water. They start getting sick and some of them die. When we get to harbor almost everybody deserts. Thing went south real quick! But these setbacks are not the end for you but instead like mini stories. If your ships sinks, you will be hired on a next ship and your quest continues. The combat on the other hand is hectic typing game where captain yells orders and you type them. There is also an option to disable the typing part and just click the order with your mouse.
Le concept est sympa mais je me suis assez vite ennuyé à faire toujours les mêmes choses. L'interface pas très ergonomique et la lenteur des trajets n'ont pas aidé... Plaisant quelques heures pour ma part
It's a fun little ship management game. It's got a good amount of complexity. Remember to train multipley gunners.
Its nice. At the beginning hard to understand but then it have a nice deepness of crew management and surviving. I understand the decision to make the fights with typing and it feels fresh and fun. Its really fun to see your crew growing in experience and you have a bond with them after a while and take care of them :-) I love it! Thanks!
This game is like a good dessert. Its very unique and very tasty, but sadly there isnt enough of it. You are managing your crew and try to make and influence the decisions which are in their own interest and your captains interest and try to please both. Most of the gameplay is focused on Naval Battles, Crew stationing and inventory rationing. You guide your ship through the high seas and help decide whether to pirate every ship you see or whether its time to lay anchor and restock. The atmosphere of the game is very well done. So are the soundtracks, and the Naval battles using the typing system are very unique! (Although typing would be optional). Instead of leisurely clicking commands and minmaxing everything, you need to type out whether you want to aim for the sails or the enemy guns. You'll have to know which ammunition to use and you have to be ready to duck at a moments notice. One mistype and your precious musicians might get blasted from the deck! Chaotic, intense and fun! You also have a few types of ships to choose from, assuming you captured them in combat. The different crew members specialize in their professions and you carefully have to decide which resource or station needs the most attention. Hiring musicians to enhance the soundtrack is also a stroke of genius by the dev. If you like management and pirates, this game is for you. The downsides are present however. The gameplay is fun, but also repetitive. So you can expect something new and fun playing this game, but also know that after 10 hours you'll have pretty much covered all the basics that this game has to offer. After that, its refinement and learning whats strong and how you need to play to beat the Elite difficulty. All in all it feels like the dev(s?) made this game with passion and creativity, but not a lot of funding, hence the lack of content. Comparing the price to other games it is steep, but also reasonable since this isnt a triple A game which would sell millions of copies.
First interaction screen, when attempting to purchase or sell goods, will not allow any interaction, including getting out of the screen... effectively a soft lock that required a force quit in Mac OS. I can't recommend anything that bombs in what is effectively a tutorial.
Absolute freaking banger. Apparently I haven't recommended it yet, likely because I just instantly boot it up whenever I see it in my library
