Enjoy the game in general, but some things about the map keep making me feel lost. 1) The explanation points that mark chests with core fragments... they stay there after you've already opened them. I keep going back to the same places, looking for the next step, only finding that I've cleared that area. 2) Marking the map... there seems to be only one marker I can place. Hollow Knight allowed for some 20 different markers, of 4-5 different colors... this was very helpful in differentiating between high ledges requiring double jump, certain barriers requiring a special ability, etc.

The game looks pretty but functionally it's a mess and the dev just abandoned it because he was tired of working on it. Now it's just another example of why Kickstarter is a bad idea.
It's not done, but what's done is brimming with style, and love. Everything about the game feels cute and adorable, and looks sleek, while the controls and the gameplay feel super responsive and slick. The game starts out really relaxed and feels a lot like a Nifflas game, which i really appreciate and wouldn't mind if it continues feeling like that. Dearly hoping that this goes further.
Very charming and approachable Metroidvania title with great pixel art and a soundtrack by Hitoshi Sakimoto's studio, responsible for one of my favorite gaming soundtracks, Final Fantasy Tactics!!! Ok so far, maybe a bit repetitive but then again it was only the alpha version. I'll play it more later and update the review
Great action-adventure game. Pixel perfect, very big map, space shooter moments, good controls, fluid movement, lot of things to be looted...
This is one of those games where the dev seems to be a bit of a perfectionist and regardless of his motives, is indeed taking a VERY long time to completely finish the game. However, these last several years there's been a major update once, sometimes twice, a year. Would everyone be happier if he had just split the game into smaller pieces and/or cut back on his honestly ridiculous scope? Perhaps. But this is one of those Beyond Good & Evil / Owlboy / Silksong type games where somehow the dev just keeps working on it for over a decade and eventually you get one of those crazy genius games that can't be replicated because it's a horribly risky idea for anyone to blow an entire decade trying to make their own version. Deltarune is also currently unfinished and taking about as long and everyone cuts Toby Fox slack because it's his second big game. Maybe if Mo had shipped a smaller game first and then made something like the current version of A.N.N.E. the way he's making it, people would also treat him like Toby Fox. Personally, I hope for his sake that he manages to finish A.N.N.E. soon. Maybe find it in his heart to say to himself "This is the last major part I'm going to write for the full version. Anything more than this is going to go in A.N.N.E. 2 or another game or an update or DLC. Perfection is impossible and this is good enough to call 'A.N.N.E. 1.0'.". But at least we're slowly getting a crazy genius game out of it.
Promising! But the first (shooter) part is annoying. Should be a quick intro.
Really good game can't wait for full release I would recommend it to anyone
