For millennia, the human realm of Heliodor has been locked in a brutal war with the six fae realms - which you, as commander of the palace guard, have witnessed firsthand.  In a desperate bid to finally end the fighting, the king of Heliodor now seeks a peace treaty - and so you are now charged with protecting the delegates from the fae courts that were once your kingdom’s greatest enemies.

But the fae have secrets and rivalries of their own. The fiery heir to Summer seeks battle over every little slight, the enigmatic fae of the Dream Court invade minds with sinister ease, the fae of the Seas and Skies seek constant vengeance against each other, the stone-hearted monarch of Winter could send the entire continent back into an ice age, and who knows the true goals of the trickster shapeshifters in the Court of Faces? Worse still, some within the king’s own court oppose his plan for peace, and would prefer the fae gone for good. Amid assassination attempts, feuding royals, court conspiracies, and smuggled magical artifacts, anything might tip the scales back to eternal war. Then again, perhaps that is what you wish for…

Will you rely on your keen swordsmanship to fend off assassins, or subterfuge to halt attacks before they happen?
