Go get it, it's amazing. I typically play on max speed and a multiplayer run can take around 20 mins that way. The main game is fun, but I really got into both the Multiplayer and the challenge modes.

Pretty cool game - gameplay loop is essentially the learning curve though. So expect about 5 hours of experience out of this game before it starts to get repetitive. Is that worth $20? Probably not, but to each their own. It's a solid game for what it is, but engagement and solid exploration of the features tanks after you figure out what's going on. It's a rouge-like version of chess, where you have your "king" and every new game you play, you get different cards to determine what your other pieces are. Then you rotate through multiple rounds of "chess" against AI "players" who each have increasing difficulty between each round, and you're able to upgrade your chess pieces each round, again through RNG. Once you figure out how to use the different "cards" and implementations of RNG through round progression, everything starts to get pretty stale. New card options aren't very engaging, the enemy teams don't change or develop in meaningful, engaging ways and the whole affair is just iterating on the same formula, over and over.

it`s prob one of the best games in my steam library the update made king of blood overpowered when i fight him now tho(or im just bad idk) like i`ve unlocked baron difficulty already but i get absolutely smashed everytime i fight em in squire difficultyb :L

This game is addictively good! I find it on par with Slay the Spire 2, but in a strategy/tower defense style. Definitely a big recommendation to try!!!

Addictive Roguelike with parabolic scaling is always a winner for me.
