7'scarlet

I overall enjoyed this game but it left me with a lot of mixed feelings. The voice acting, art, movie, music, characters and writing were amazing! i especially love love LOVE the song 'Lovesick' by A-TO and have been looping it for weeks after Toa's route. The story was very detailed and the atmosphere was lovely. i love that theres an order of route to follow where it slowly unravels the whole mystery route by route. Its such a good game! Now my biggest problem was how naive and lacking the MC's personality is, i mean i initially thought she was a cute shoujo girl and really liked her for the first 3 routes... until i started Sosuke's route...it started off so good and then 80% of the CG is just her hugging sosuke, NOT EVEN IN DIFFERENT OUTFITS. it just gets repetitive especially since sosuke's route is one of the longest one. If u go through all the CG's u can see how all the other characters had cool action scenes and variety of fun scenes and sosuke's CG is basically just the 2 aliens hugging eachother meme. Its such a shame cus i was so excited for sosuke, im such a sucker for the smart nonchalant types who slowly warms up to MC. but alas, i couldnt stand MC in his route. Yuzuki's route gave me so much hope dude, i was so happy finishing his route. And then the secret route unlocked where we got to meet the missing brother, its the route that ties everything together. omg so excited, omg so anticipating omg im sure im gonna love how they conclude this game [spoiler] NOOOPEE THEY WENT THE VAMPIRE KNIGHT ROUTE AND WE START ROMANCING THE BROTHER?? the brother turns out to be an immortal zombie who kidnapped her and brainwashed her into thinking hes her brother, worst thing is that he started realising hes in love with her when she was in MIDDLE SCHOOL. i gave so many benefit of the doubt dude. i was like "no it cant be, maybe they are just affectionate, they wouldnt- and then THEY KISSED *PUKES* i feel like i need to be jailed bcs my choices led to this outcome. Shoutout to my man Hino who saw that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and was like "yucky mucky what the f*cky" and left [/spoiler] but yeaaaa overall i really enjoyed it, my favourite route was Toa's. MC was also the best in his route <3
