Make monsters clash with each others to win. Cool arcade gameplay with horror aesthetics and 4 distinct campaign (game-modes). But sadly it's gets old fast.
This game features 4 playable characters each with their own personal ability and unique pursuer. Each character has a campaign consisting of 10 levels and a boss. This is a great horror, puzzle game that tells the story of a cult's attempt bring the dead back to life, only to be hunted down one by one (with your help, of course). Highly recommended!
Stress Inducing
Or maybe it would be. It's a bit difficult for the atmosphere to match the intense gameplay with the type of art direction this game takes. When it comes to the "Would I recommend" atmosphere of the steam rating system, I find myself in a bit of a crux. I spent the evening explaining to someone at a bar what this game was like. It was a Kava bar for all those trying to type out how I'm a loser for talking about games at a bar. And thus I was talking about this game in public. Can or would I recommend it? I'm not sure. I wish this was first person, or a superior 3D as that could add to the level of stress. Using an unkillable force to defeat your enemies is a stress-inducing journey that feels rewarding in the end. So I suppose it could be considered fun, but that fun doesn't last very long nor does it immerse in a horror aspect, it instead immerses like a puzzle. I'm not sure if that was the intent, but I guess it works as a game, and as it seems I've already recommended it to someone, I give it an obligatory yet reluctant thumbs up.

Игра неожиданно хороша! Напрягает правда немного, но хороша.
I was really pleasantly surprised by the creativity of the mechanics in this game. The store page states the basic mechanics that you must lead a pursuing enemy into other enemies to kill them, but it goes a bit deeper. Each level is a simple matter of clearing all the enemies, but there's four separate characters (campaigns) with eleven levels each. All four characters can move and use a single action, but the actions available to the characters, as well as the mechanics of the entity pursuing you, are all different from campaign to campaign. All are a blend of strategic, puzzle-oriented, and reactionary, but the differing mechanics make them lean towards one or two of those categories a bit more. It's a little tough, and enemy placements can feel a bit random, but I don't feel like the underlying mechanics were in any way unfair or poorly designed. Pack that all up with a bit of vague but still comprehensible story and you've got a very solid short game to throw a couple hours into. My only real complaint was character 3, the artstyle doesn't lend well to the precision the game was asking, and the levels felt a little long for the health you're given. Other than that, for the first game this dev has posted to steam, I'm very impressed.
Unfortunately I can't recommend this game for a really annoying reason, but I'm willing to change my review here, if the creator should be willing to fix it (which I unfortunately doubt strongly, because they aren't happy with this game here by themself). But first I need to explain a part of the game mechanics more, before you are able to understand my criticism: You start the game with choosing between one of 4 people (I assume those are all kids) and then picking out a level (which you need first to unlock for of course). Each campagin/person plays a bit differently, which is a plus point for sure. But the one person with the lantern on their hand is the reason, why I'm not able to give this game a positive review unfortunately. In the 7th level of this campaign you need to run away from a monster. This monster is going to follow your movements and blocking your way are a lot of innocent people. You have to make sure that this monster won't touch any of those with carefully watching your own steps. If this creature kills 3 of them, all of those innocent beings will suddenly attack you in an insane speed, so you will lose (there's no chance for avoiding their attacks, because you shouldn't lose that many innocent people at the begin with). What makes that level so impossible and annoying is, that you can't see that monster without using your lantern (space key). So you have to press it all the time for seeing it's path, which is still not really easy to follow and move then along of it's potential victims without getting touched by that monster nor letting that monster touch those victims. I've tried multiple times, but gave it up. Seems impossible to me and have simply to wait for a response of the developer or another gamer how they managed (if they managed to do it of course) to beat this level. Let me point out now the good things about this game: the graphics are suiting really well to this whole environment. It reminds me a lot of a child's doodles, which faced some serious trauma. Even the enemies feel like they are connected to that theory of mine. One of the monsters that hunts you down for example seems to "hurt with words", while it's shouting out some skeleton hands. Personally I think that's very symbolic and the gameplay idea itself to use the creature, which hunts you down for defeating lesser monsters (luring the bigger threat to the smaller ones) is a very well made and unique idea. Maybe it's even a symbol for an abusive guardian, which doesn't only harms the victim (player), it still somehow gives it's victim the protection it should do (by law/ethics) with getting rid off the other monsters (bullies?). It's just a theory though and never really mentioned in the story (except if I would have found it out after beating that impossible level), but because of those graphics and symbols I can count this game as a little artwork. But unfortunately because of that (unplayable?) level it's not possible (for me only?) to finish it and therefore I can't recommend it. Sorry.
